Random idea I had for a list.
Let's see how many things we can think of.
Feel free to use BTech or any other system.
1. "THAC0" forced you to use math every single game session.
2. There was a point in time when the Clans didn't exist.
3. You know what a Firebee is, let alone what it looks like.
4. You realize that Order of the Stick, Knights of the Dinner Table, Nodwick, Dork Tower, and Phil & Dixie are all not too far from the truth.
5. You've had at least one game session that nearly turned physically violent.

1. When you first started playing Dungeons & Dragons there was no "A" in "D&D"
1.5. You could still find copies of "Chainmail" at the local gaming/book stores.
2. Battletech was fun, because you actually had memorized all the stats for every mech in the TRO 3025.
3. Cosmic Wimpout was a great way to pass the time.
4. Every so often, you had to refill your the numbers on you dice, by rubbing crayons on them.
5. Gary Gygax was "The Man"!!!!
6. Your mech actually overheated, and at times your mech would actually "shut down" from excessive heat.
7. Thrud the Barbarian, and Gobbledigook rocked! Go "White Dwarf"!
8. You and your gaming friends were the only ones who knew what a Hobbit was.
9. You loved Led Zepplin because of the lyrics:
How years ago in days of old
When magic filled the air,
T'was in the darkest depth of Mordor
I met a girl so fair,
But golem, the evil one crept up
And slipped away with her.
10. Someone has actually passed out from laughter at your gaming table. (Make that on two seperate occassions!)

18. You have memorized all of the stats to a character class and make a character in 10 minutes.
19. You have read every D&D novel every put out so many times that you can recite them in their entirely without missing a single word.
20. You have special or favorite dice that you only use, when you play a certain character who comes in and out retirement as needed.

| Addendum to #20: You have 'special' dice that you let others borrow when they forget theirs. They look like the rest to the untrained observer, but you know whichs ones never roll the lucky 12.
