Okay I was looking up something in Wiki...yes I know not the best place to look for things at times, and I found this listed under Fictional Military Units:
Spartan Guards Regiments
It was shown has coming from Battletech, now I can't seem to find a reference to this merc unit, so can anyone tell me which sourcebook has the info or reference to this group please?

Okay if it's not offical why is on the Battletech Wiki then?
That is one of the biggest reasons I don't like Wiki as a source positive since anyone can add anything they want to contents and Wiki doesn't check everything.

Wiki is fine for doing quick checks and stuff. But you are right in that anyone can add anything. I've found Wiki to be great for most things, but would never use it as a source for "facts".

I remember the Spartan Guards from way way back (like ten years ago or so), when I was playing the first time around... The website doesn't appear to have changed since then...
