==Overview:==
As the name implies, the Pointman was intended as a simple vehicle with a
simple purpose: ride ahead of the other members of its unit and pick out
targets.
An Active Probe mounted within the vehicle helps it search out its prey. If
the target is light enough (such as infantry and their carriers) then the
Pointman can engage with its triple machine guns and SRM rack. If the target
is too powerful, the Pointman can hand it off to other, heavier units.
A small cargo hold allows the crew to carry a supply of food, water, and
camping equipment in the event that they are tasked with operating for several
days at a time.

Some units have the BAP removed in favor of TAG gear and an RL 10.
