Thank you! Is this the Demolisher variant that means to make use of the old model?
It is similar to the Demolisher Mk III found in Sorensen's Sabres. (Mk I also meaning the original model; Mk II meaning the current model.....Mk III is then the fusion-upgrade) _________________ "Rear armour is defeatist!" - unknown Kuritan Mechwarrior

I can check the fluff out...the entry in HMVee didn't have the fluff, but odds are you are on the right track, (no pun intented) with your thinking as far as how they are setup.

Did the original demolisher have anything else besides the dual AC/20?

Nope, those twin guns were all that it had if I recall correctly.

Your memory is good, at least for this one.
Demonlisher [Mk I], two 185 mm ChemJet Guns, translates to two AC/20s with 4 tons of ammo total [20 shots].

Book or Mini? I think in the original Mechwarrior RPG it called for just 2 AC20s also. But the first Demolisher mini was the size of a house and had extra looking gun ports also.
But even this design is dead meat unless in a city. New rules make it that vehicles must haev ranged weapons.

What do you mean ranged weapons? All weapons are ranged...some are short others are long... _________________ Karagin Only the dead have seen the end of war. - Plato
