Well, DHSs and ER lasers. It just turns the mech to a flashlight. A flashlight of death. It's a dangerous machine, but I can't help myself from viewing it as a little munchy. Use it occasionally, but not too often.

Munchy? Wow: with only changing the type of heatsinks and large lasers!
I thought replacing the large lasers by ER models and switching to DHS would be an easier upgrade than tinkering with XL´s, Endo or entire different weapon systems!
(even if this was done with not so few 3050 upgrades!)
I havn´t had this variant in combat yet but it´s predecessor was quite successfull.

Only a little

I just fear that there are too many people who would fill their ranks with mechs like these and ignoring the others (choosing performance over diversity). I don't think that you are one of those people, but I just wanted to place a warning sign for those who are.

EDIT: I'm sure that the mech would deal well in battle. It's almost too perfect, so let's say it openly - there may be some envy involved

Ok, the raw performance is really great! (Not that i want to knock on my own shoulder! ) But a commander that is relying only on this machine will see himself outperformed if enemy mech show up in situation, in which something different is needed as raw, heatless firepower!
Think of jump capable mechs in rough terrain, indirect fire, AC/20 / SRM combinations in tight situation, fast mechs in a kind of race-scenario and so on!
Every commander only relying on one type of mech will suffer from a catastrophic defeat sooner or later (I think more sooner than later!), even if he gets a bravorous success in his first battle (´s)!

I never saw you as one of the lesser constructors!!

Fully armored energy alpha-boat with no heat problems (I find them somewhat boring unless they have something special).

Well, maybe that I was too harsh with the rating... maybe a 4, but that would need me to get to some better mood... not so easy.

I didn´t construct it to get a munchy mech but as an easy and straight forward upgrade of my -3K without dealing with hard-to-replace technologies like XL engines or ES chassis.
I thought about removing some heatsinks to get room for something else but i couldn´t think of something usefull to put in.

Oh, i don´t want to beg for better ratings
Just rate as you feel apropriate
I just wanted to make clear my intentions building this mech.

Begging would be futile, if there was something that would catch my attention than you would get a better rating, but I don't think that you need to hoard rating points.

Well, that's what I do

...and that's what I'm usually trying to do when starting a debate over a review. Not that I'm always successful while doing so.

I dunno mate, I've always thought you make yourself perfectly clear

But then, we have alike ideas and tastes when it comes to some things about mech design
