A scraggly man comes into the bar. Not even looking at the rather imposing gent by the door he makes his way to a table away from the youngsters who are always getting into mischief. Grunting with effort he lowers himself into a chair and settles in for what looks like a long wait.
"Can a fellow get a drink in this joint?"
Leaning back in his chair he pulls the service cap from his head and sets it on the table.
"Well guys, what's new around here?"

Not a whole lot has changed since you left us, old friend. A few new faces have come and a few old faces have left, but one thing stays the same: we can always get a good drink here.

Actually I've been working long hours at work. To the tune of 5am-11pm. Had a few half days of late like yesterday and today, I got off at about 3. whew. Sucks being a skilled craftsman at times.

"Of course, friend. Most recently, I have been removed from active duty due to some medical problems. I had to have a myoelectronic feedback device implated within my inner ear to correct vestibulo-ochlear nerve damage recieved in battle. I need to work out all the tech kinks before I return to active duty. It has, however, provided me the time to work on my precision rifle shoting. Three inch circle at five hundred yards, I am improving. I might even choose to participate in some of your Inner Sphere competitions."
