The Cylon equivalent of the Battlestar, the Basestar is a dedicated Carrier as opposed to a Carrier/Battleship like Battlestars. She has very weak sub-light drvies (In the series they have no slower-than-light drive) but carries a stunning thousand Raiders and Heavy Raiders. Her only capital weaponry are multiple warhead launchers, but she is heavily defended from enemy foghters bu numerous turrets. She needs carry no food supplies or escape pods as her crew is automated.
