Well...I think that's the first time I've ever seen a 95 ton 'mech criticized for doing 3/5 speed...I like the Yamoto comment though.
One of these days I've got to compile my Amaris designs into a TRO. I don't want to design too many 'mechs for them though, as I suspect most of the Amaris army with equipped with stuff from TRO 3025 and 3026.

The guns look nice, but I'm not sure if this mech is able to retreat after it expends the ammo... well if it needs to retreat after firing 32 gauss rounds then the pilot is blind or the position is hopelessly overwhelmed, so the ammo may not be such a big problem at all. I like the SRM backup for the main guns, maybe the enemy is going to stay away in a gauss hailstorm instead of trying to close and enjoy the hailstorm with SRM sleet. A tough mech, but I'm afraid that with Amaris it was always used in a way similar to the Yamato battleship.

I'm not trying to say that it's too slow, just mentioning the fact that when it runs out of ammo, than it must deal with the same problem like the King Crab - walking home without anything to fire at the pursuing mechs. ER PPC is located in torso so the mech either walks backward an shoots, or runs and does nothing else. That makes it vulnerable to pursuing mechs like Phoenix Hawks. My Riever Mech has similar problem. And to the fluff - Devastators Should really be careful around this mech
I wonder if there is any connection between the Mongol and Amaris' folly
