| ...does it usually take between submitting a new 'mech and seeing it posted? I am kinda new to this site and am not used to it's usual workings.

it depends on the work load of the moderator mainly but averages to between 4 or 5 days to 2 weeks. however, all designs appear whenever the moderator can approve them and no sooner. We can only sit and wait.

I'm moving around this board for a while and I asked this question too (just like many other new people). The question is why don't you add this answer to FAQ or as a sticky theme to design submissions? (just a suggestion  )
