I was looking through Wikipedia originally at the Childrens Crusade (interesting truth behind myth) and then on to longbows. Somehow managed to get onto Japanese weaponary and thought what the hell. So put in Daishi. And the Actual Description includes the battletech mech and info! then i used hyperlink to find this...

They are missing info on the Heavy Metal programs, but beyond that it is a nice setup and very detailed giving a decent overview.

Wow, I am totally impressed. I can't believe that it is that thorough. they are missing a few things. For instance, Heavy Metal Pro and the like, not to mention the GREATEST BATTLETECH Discussion board ever: Mordel's Bar and Grill.
I was also a bit disappointed to to see that they left out any informaiton, other than names on a ew key people, including Ryan Steiner and Thomas Marik.
But overall one of the most useful pages I've seen. There is so much informaiton there. I've been playing for a while, and over the years, I've kinda just absopred most of the information, not realizing how extensive it is. But this site puts it all into perspective.

Chaos March (a useful site for CBT info) has had a link for Wiki's BattleTech stuff for a while. Not only is it well known, but it's been well known for some time.

Ok, I recently looked at this wikipedia entry, and the Heavy Metal website is listed with the other official sites and Rick is listed with the artists/designers.
I took the liberty of editing the wiki (since that is the point after all....) and adding Mordel's B&G to it in the links for "Other Sites"
Enjoy.
PS. Remember a wiki can be edited by anyone, how do you think all that info got there to begin with??

One might assume that some wiki-competent BattleTech fan made an entry about his favorite hobby.
