Raven adjusts his tie as he peers at himself in the mirror of his nice downtown apartment. The pleasent brownstone he lives in cool and inviting. Noticing a speck of dust on his black jacket he quickly wipes it away and then puts on a pair of dark glasses. With a grin he grabs his "personal effects" and prepares for a day of glorious suffering.... for others of course.

Stepping out the door, Raven looks up and down the street and begins to whistle to himself. Down the street he sees a young couple. Placing his hands in his jacket he jumps down to the street and races towards them. Cackling evil he leaps in front of them, and as his jacket flies away from his form, the couple leap back in horror!

ITS TO LATE! Raven jumps straight at the man, his hand outstretched. And with a cry of anquish the young man falls to the ground...

.... a pink slip shoved into his pocket! "BOIL just bought your business in a hostille take over! You're fired!"

***** At the B&G *****

NEWS: ".... and in Business News BOIL launched a hostile take over of over fifty publicaly traded corporations." The women looks up in shock, her normally bland news face, now covered in outrage. "HOW DARE THEY?! We are now being told that..." Suddenly a "TECHNICAL DIFFICULITIES" image appears. Happy music fills the air of the B&G and then suddenly the screen comes back. The newscaster is in the background, arguing with two large burly security guards who are pointing patiently to her pink slip. Raven sits at the desk. "And BOIL, in an effort to increase efficiency and production, has managed to produce instant earnings in more then 30 companies today! We'll now go back to the games, and please note that these savings have made it possible for BOIL to provide free coverage of the games for anyone with a TV!" Beaming Raven smiles as the Camera switches over.

***** 15 Minutes Later *****

Raven walks in, seemingly content with his life. "An OJ and blueberry muffin! Thank you!" Smiling he hands his pen and pink slips to lurch. "These might count as deadly weapons"

Raven!

"Well, so would I Bladewind. Raven, that pen may be your deadly weapon, but I prefer a sidearm. My choice is of an old Terra design, a six shot, .44 caliber revolver. My fellow Star Captains ridicule me for using such an old design while they carry automatics that can fire fifteen or twenty shots. My way of thinking is that if you cannot do it with six shots, it cannot be done. What are your thoughts Raven?"

I agree with you, Kalo. The older designs are far more enjoyable. I normally carry a Colt Model 1911A .45 semi-auto side arm, which Lurch is holding for me. For parade duty (often a problem in the Watch), I have an antique LeMat revolver.

"Really? Very interesting. I also carry an antique weapon when doing parade duty or honor guard. It is a Colt 1862 Police revolver. Lurch is holding it for me, as I left my usual revolver at the dropship. It is an old design and must be muzzle loaded, but I find it has the stopping power to be effective to carry on a regular basis. Hey Lurch, can you show Whizz my side arm."

Lurch lifted the 1862 Colt up for a second before re sotring it into the weapons locker.

"Pretty nice eh?"

(This is actually an 1861 Army. I couldn't find a good pic of an 1862 Police. The Police Revolver is .36 caliber and a five shot revolver)

Hmm, interesting choices in weaponry boys. I myself carry 2 vintage WWII Walthers, a WWII Luger, and also a Katana captured during WWII which was already 200+ years old. All of these have been carefully maintained and passed down through my family, started from 2 different great................. grandfathers. One who was a marine that fought against the Japanese, the other an army ranger who fought in europe. I carry different ones at different times, and fore the rare dress uniform event my unit has I carry all 4. All 4 are visible when I do, a Walther strapped to each thigh, Luger riding in a custom made holster on my right hip and the Katana on my left.

He has an elementalist and an extensive (albiet strange... but that could be an advantage) bar security system... what use would he have for a gun?

"Well, Point Commander, I would rather have the feel of a sidearm on my hip than elaborate defense systems. I just thought Chihawk would be the same. By the way Chihawk, get me and Point Commander Emmy here a fussionaire please."

Why does anyone need a sidearm now when you, thats right YOU!, can own a state of the art BOIL Survaliance System. Act now and it will be only 19.95 (in super quiet voice: payable in souls)!!!! WHO COULD RESIST SUCH A DEAL?!

And for the Bar & Grill? 50% off! *Only for a limited time, and only 50% off for the first payment. Savings to be destroyed through excessive interest rates.*

I see someone besides me walks around with ridicoulos amounts of weaponry...

Unlike the rest of you guys, I keep most of my weaponery modern. I generally carry Dual Lasers pistols for the main punch, or a Needle Pistol and an Autopistol. And thats just my siderarms, plus a captured Vibrokatana.

Dont even ask about my wrist-SMG or Blazer Rifle...

You must be compensating for something Hai?

All you pups and your relices. I use whatever my employer gives me, but i usually prefear these weapons when on a mission outside my mech: 11.4mm Pistol, 11.4mm SMG with a flashlight if possible, Vibroknife, and my Kurita issued Katana. If my mission requires me to imploy a longer ranged weapon, I will use a pretty standard 7.62mm Assult Rifle. I, however, like the SMG better do to its size and ease of use. So compared to you welps, I am pretty boring.

I'm interested. What does that kit include?

By the way, ...

*goes to Lurch, takes his Katana, carefully examines nearest table, considering if it's worthy of bearing the sword and then unsheathes it and carefully lays it down on the table*

... this sword is pretty ancient. Father said that it was made just few years before Meiji reforms, but our family bears it for mere 150 years.

*returns Katana to Saya and handles it back to Lurch*

For other weapons ... my Dragon stands outside ...
