I like it. I nice general duty mech. Similar to the Centurion. Maybe a bit too fast for a Lyran but maybe they stole the design from someone else.

Another Centurion clone (there is a Large laser variant of the CNT), but hey, imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.
Good designs get mimicked all the time.

Awlfully close to the Lineholder. A personal favorite.

It's also very close to my Gila. I'm starting to repeat myself!

Well, first off... I like the design. Second, I've done that LOL.
Look at my 2 custom zeuses in the custom TRO.
The ZEU-12S and ZEU-12X. I designed them a LONG time apart, yet they are almost exactly the same, just a single tiny difference in them.

that thing with ZEU-12S and ZEU-12X actally may be "your personal mark of excellence". If you made the same thing twice it can be sign of stagnation, or that it cannot be done much better. (with Lion prime, I made it two years ago, but only thing I forced myself to change was flamer to light active probe or light TAG (that depends on my mood), otherwise I leave it unchanged)

5/8? Fast? Are you nuts!?
In any case, I like the payload, but the armors a bit thin for me (I, unless absolutely nessisary, max the armor)

I think your second point of it not being able to get better is the one for this situation with my designs. To meet my design goals and such, I was just unable to find a better way, even though the time was vastly different. I started playing BT in late 1997, and I designed the ZEU-12X about a year later. Then in 2004 I designed the ZEU-12S, having totally forgotten about th 12X and wanting the same results. So, I got them lol. Then, shortly after making the 12S I find an RS I printed off for the 12X using BMD 9.71, and laughed at myself for a long time hehe. Anyways, it WILL happen to us all, especially those of us who create designs a lot.

I have all designs cataloged and some simply rewritten from one commonplace book to another (as I write designs on paper I sometimes make new book, because I change format or style of writing (I have some 30 designs), or make illustrations) Designing programs are only for BV and cost calculation (for control and safekeeping too of course)
If I'm unable to find better way with given design specifications, than I perceive them as perfect until somebody says otherwise (and proves that)
