Ok everyone with HMAero (no I dont have it yet) I am looking for a drop ship design that will run around top tier weight with excellent armor coverage and decent heavy fire power. I am looking for a Davion design with no RACs and mabey above average speed.
No need to worry about the fluff as I have most of that written already. The biggest thing is that it needs to have 2 Bays that units can launch from at ground level and 2 bays for aerospace conventional and Vtol's. It will be a highly specialized dropship used to carry naval assets of every weight.
I have a interesting scenario that has been forming in my mind now and just need to work some things out but I need the new design to help finish it.
Thanks in Advance

I LIKE!
One question though. What is the heaviest vehicle you can get in there? I was hopeing for 555 tons and mabey the ability to get several of them in the drop ship as well.
Here is the basic story I am working on.
In 3061, 5 major water rich worlds in the Federated suns were captured by WoB forces. Before Davion could react to the threat WoB forces had heavily fortified the worlds and were easily able to thwart any attempt to retake the world. By 3063 WoB had started converting surrounding systems to thier control, the world went because they needed the water that WoB now controlled. Information that came in shortly after the worlds were seized, told the high command that WoB forces had moved in several massive naval cannons and mounted them in such a way as to have a decent field of fire. Months later when it became apparent that the locals were working against the WoB forces they moved in and shut down the stations. And since they couldnt get a sufficent mech force in their to get the worlds back (planetary assets were not up to par with the WoB forces) Davion High command started a very aggressive project to get a wet navy that could be deployed far away from the target and move in under the range of the naval grade weapons that now protected the island chains.

Technically the heaviest vehicle is 100 tons. The Conv. Fighter and VTOL bays are custom entries, but they're little more than renamed light vehicle bays.
For ships/subs, I created my own custom bay. Each is 555 tons per unit, and adds 40 bay personnel (the default crew number for a 555 ton ship/sub according to HMVee). This is the next to last entry, before cargo. This isn't technically legal, but I figure that that doesn't truly matter if you want to make it legal for what you're doing. And it is derived from the standard, game legal bays. So yes; this has the ability to carry ships/subs. Four of them, in total. I could add more, but I'd have to lose something or make the DropShip heavier.
I myself pictured the naval ships/subs as being attached vertically to the exterior hull (with curved doors or half-cocoons for protection from space), and being dropped into the water as the DropShip hovers over the water. And, presumably, the hydrofoils would just be popped out of the vehicle bays and into the water. The only flaw with that is that it would be hard to load up and leave quickly, unless you have cranes. Hmmm... Now I want to allocate tonnage for cranes. But that's up to you. Besides, you might well have your own vision of the DropShip.

Cranes would be cool. Hmm Sorry didnt notice the ships being listed spearate that way my bad. No I think that adding the cranes may be all she needs.
I was seeing it as a cylinder shaped drop ship that would actually land in the water and partially flood the ship bays. This would allow the ships to be loaded using tugs and manuvering. When the dropship was ready to depart with them again it would then drain the bay and this would atually have a twofold purpose of putting the ships in drydock. The engines are mounted in such a way that when the Dropship comes into land they are out of the water and you dont have to worry about them. But kind of like the mammoth (the one with the engines mounted on the outside of the ship to the sides of the hulls. Like that but higher up. And the very bottom of the cylinder is resting in the water by say 40 feet.
