Well that seems to solve both problems but now we need to find dry place to store the food 
And Michael there is enough pace to swim around in this room but the shaft is quite narrow.

Umm, I think that they need to improve the delivery system, but even if inefficient, it's fast

Let's think before we'll destroy another piece of furniture. Maybe we can use the fridge. It's broken and I cut some pieces from it, but it's possible to use it and maybe the table too...

I think that swimming was already discussed before, but i would try to repair the broken pipe.
*tries to put piece of wood to the pipe but after being hit by the wood and additional watter SD leaves the pipe alone*
No that is not good idea.
