If there is a huge danger in front uf us we will get together but if that foe is dead or the danger gets smaller we will turn to ourselfs and rip us apart! Mankind didn´t learn from more than 8000 years of war!

Thank god i havent got into a real battle for years.
*stares at paunch and flabby arms* I don't think i can pilot well anymore.
i barely fire any weapon except for shooting the occasional fallen pirate or the rare clan mech on the floor (interrogations are a waste of time, just waste the mechwarrior) after my subordinates flatten him with LRM barrages.
For my men, well, they are the grunts, if they live, great ! If they die, oh, its just war !
I don't need to get my hands dirty.

I´ve to do the dirty jobs by myself!
Our mercenary-unit consists of only 6 Mechs and even our Commandant can´t stay back when it gets hot!

Dirty hands? Try working in the front office for one of the house teams in Solaris combat. I would much rather be in the arena than behind a desk trying to keep certain organizations from recruiting my pilots.
