Here's my attempt at a Marik fighter. All the components are guaranteed fluff-accurate.
Class/Model/Name: Alimar
Tech: Inner Sphere / 2685
Vessel Type: Aerospace Fighter
Rules: Level 1, Custom design
Rules Set: AeroTech2
Mass: 70 tons
Frame: Interstar Heavy
Length: 18 meters
Power Plant: Pitban 280 Fusion
Safe Thrust: 6
Maximum Thrust: 9
Armor Type: Valiant Lamellor Standard
Armament:
1 Beta-6 SRM 6
1 Gamma-10 LRM 10
1 Martell Large Laser
4 Hellion-b II Medium Laser
2 Diverse Optics Type 10 Small Laser
Manufacturer: Andurien Aerotech
Location: Westover
Communications System: Lassitor-3QZ
Targeting & Tracking System: SynCom VAX
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
==Overview:==
The Alimar was designed late in the 2600s to meet the Free Worlds League's
need for a new heavy aerospace fighter. Originally, the Alimar weighed in 10
tons lighter, barely meeting the classification requirements. But the
lightness of the airframe led the design to be prone to severe structural
failures when entering atmospheres. After almost two dozen pilot fatalities,
the Alimar was redesigned with a much heavier frame, putting it squarely into
the heavy category.
==Capabilities:==
The Alimar has always been a middle-of-the-road fighter. It isn't particularly
fast, well-armed, or heavily armored, but it handles itself well enough.
Longer ranges are ably covered by the combination of the Gamma-10 missile
system and the Martell laser. Initially the Alimar mounted twin martell
systems, but the power drain of firing both lasers at once sometimes caused
the loss of attitude control in the prototypes.
Close in, the Alimar displays most of its' real killing power. Quad Hellion-b
II lasers enable the fighter to peel off large chunks of armor from the
target, while the Beta-6 launch rack penetrates deep, destroying the
now-vulnerable internal systems.

Make an L2 variant with LGRs and ER lasers.
Good thing about L2 tech is that it fleshes out each House unique tech tree more.

I know I said I wouldn't be here for a few days, but I managed to get to my laptop today.
I tried to add a Light Gauss Rifle, but it changed the fighter too much.

==Overview:==
Following the resurgence of Star League technology, the Andurien design team
turned its' attention to the often-overlooked Alimar to recieve the latest
round of upgrades.
==Capabilities:==
The Alimar has been upgraded considerably with new technology, but it remains
a middle-of-the-road fighter. Citing costs, the Andurien team decided against
one of the new XL engines, which could have been used to make the fighter a
more specialized design. However, almost every other aspect of the design has
been modified.
Although weighing a half-ton less than previous armor, the new Andurien
Composition 3 Ferro-Aluminum armor provides improved protection, although the
bulky armor has slightly increased the Alimar's radar profile. New Garret
electronics equipment has increased the fighter's communications range,
decreased the chance of an IFF failure, and boosted the number of targets the
sensors can track from 15 to 29, a vast improvement over previous models.
The most obvious changes are to the weapons, with both missile systems
recieving an Artemis-IV Fire Control System, and having their ammunition bins
replaced with CASE. The lasers have been upgraded to Extended-Range versions,
with the exception of the tail-mounted Small Lasers, increasing the fighter's
effective range drastically.

Cheap and effective. Plus it fits the 3050 theme where old mechs and aerotechs only have some new tech bolted on before being sent against the clans.
Marik's love of ER lasers really stand out here as well.
