Once again I will be switching hosts. I currently pay $15.95/month for this host. Since I've been doing work on BattleCorps, I was given permission to move my site onto their server. This is a great thing in the long run! The server is super-fast and extremely reliable.
I'm in the process of uploading all the files and a snapshot of the database. Once this is done I'll modify all the files to get them to work on that server. I'll then make an announcement here and switch the name servers to point to the new server.
So, stay tuned...

Will the new host put limits on the site size? Will you have more or less room for the site?

As chihawk said, it will stay the same. I do want to make changes eventually, but for now, I just want to move it some place cheaper (free) as well as infinitely more reliable.

Well, considering the site host will be BattleCorps, and I'm pretty much in charge of the server, space won't be an issue. This site is relatively small in comparison to BattleCorps, so will only leave a small footprint on the server.
The upside is there will essentially be no restrictions with what I can do on the site. If I need some software, I can get it, install it, and use it.

Sounds like you have done your research. From what you've said, I'd say the plan is a good idea, and the srver does sound infinately better.
Unfortunately, we will all have to update our bookmarks. Oh well, small price to pay, I guess...

Only if you're accessing the site via IP. The domain name will stay the same, so no update of bookmarks is needed.

Tell me, why would what server I'm on matter. Unless you're just making sure we don't fall outside the server agreement as far as content.
