Nice work! For restrictive there may be some JJs (6 MRM-10s?) , but otherwise I can't see any flaw. Coordinator would be pleased.

I would love to do something similar.. but there just isn't enough space.. i supposed i could use medium pulse lasers..
It will also cost more, which kinda defeats the purpose..

Using 2 MRM-30s you free 4 crits. Just place one laser from CT elsewhere and add JJs. With 6 MRM-10s you must replace the lasers in CT with pulse laser to do the same thing (only 2 crits. free), but you can distribute the launchers around the mech to give it wider field of fire.
One more variant struck me when I wrote this. Downgrade the PPC to ER large, remove one med. laser, DHS or some ammo (2t total) and remove ES to pull down the cost. Then again 6 MRM-10s and JJs. Maybe ECM to protect it from TCs and C3 or flamer to slow down opponents and root out dug-in infantry and vehicles. This will also leave enough space to install hand actuators for melee and work after the fight (removing rubble, carrying salvage).

You could.. but i guess part of the point was to make it look nasty and still be simple to pilot..

My beef with this is the much shorter range of the Er LL. It doesn't quite do the job of giving covering fire while you close in..

Then remove one laser, DHS and two tons of ammo. Smaller launchers don't need it anyway.

That might work though the lasers were to act as a back-up weapon in the event that ammunition runs out. (not sure if that ever happens, in several games played in MegaMek, the bots liked to target the Jitte. Fortunately it seems able to take it and give back good... once it closes).

That's why I'm talking about JJs. If it is to be used in built-up or heavily overgrown areas, JJs will help it a lot and the PPC will probably have restricted LOS.
