I'm looking for an assault weight Battle Armor - heavy armor (as near to max as you can get), an ECM suite, and a medium laser as primary armament. Flamer or SRMs preferred as additional armament if you can fit it. A walk speed of 2 MP.

An anti-personel weapons mount would be nice, but not necessary. (Besides, I don't know what it would do under CBT rules...)

This is Davion (surprise, surprise...), so a name along the Cavalier/Grenadier lines would be appreciated if it's not too much trouble; I can't think of anything at the moment.

Money is no object, just so it's said. Cost is secondary to effectiveness.

Yes it is. I quite like dropping the secondary weapons for armor - it works out better that way. Four of these will be damned hard to kill, I think.

Two questions, if I may. First, the AP weapons mount is modular, yes? So it could mount something else as well, if need be? And second, what does the spotlight do?

Yes. The Anti-Personnel Weapon is on a modular mount. You can switch in any conventional infantry weapon you want.

The Spotlight, I believe, negates the Night Combat modifiers for anything within 9 hexes. On the sample Record Sheet, it says "Searchlight: Illuminates 9 hexes". Whether that's a 9-hex cone, or a 9-hex bubble, or 9 individual hexes one at a time, I don't know.

Ok.. cheap.. no jump needed... decent armour, LRM system of some sort (and i don't mean infantry LRM). Preferably a 5 rack with plenty of reloads..

lowering cost idea..

Drop the ground speed to 10 klicks odd and the armour to about 10. Would that lower the cost?
