How about a level 2 main battle tank with at least 1 of each type of AC. Has to be able to take on a heavy battlemech and the ACs are the main wepons.

Lessee...current Davion names include the Avalon and Fox...Avalon was the final resting place of King Arthur in Arthurian legend...so let's go with some legendary names.
Circe (goddess/sorceress of grecian legend)
Triton (legendary king of the mer-people)
Bedivere (Knight of Arthurian legend)
Mandrake (Mythological Grecian monster)
Harpy (Mythological Grecian monster)
Phoenix (Mythological Grecian monster)
Oberon (legendary ruler of the faeries)
Gwyllion (a sort of mountain faerie. Hides in the bushes and stares at you, trying to creep you out)
That's all I could think of.

No, none stuck. But they did help, in a vague, round-about sort of way. Circe leads to Greek gods, which leads to Roman gods, which leads to Latin, which eventually lead to Invictus, which both makes a good name, and sounds Davion. I myself originally thought something Arthurian would work, but the stupid Mariks have all the Arthurian names taken. I didn't even know that they had a crusier (Agamemnon) and a frigate (Eagle).
