hmm..not too bad. Not liking the flamer though. Armor is nice though it may be lightened to increase equipment allowance. What is weight difference if you lowered the speed but made it jump capable?

Lowering speed to 6/9 and adding full jump leaves 1.5 tons free.

How low do you want the armor to go? 5 tons? 4?

What do you mean by "front line useable"?

Well as the first one you posted, it is good for supporting front line units but not being in the frontline itself. the weapons are too small for it to slug it out. It can recon, raid, fast strikes, support-long and short, scout, scout hunter, etc...but it cannot perform anywhere near adequately up front against the enemy.
As for armor, 5 tons is good, gives it some survivability for it's speed. keep the armor if you make it go 6/9/6 and allocate more tonnage to weapons.

Awhile back I designed several Battle Armours with the Obsolete Battle Armor Forge program...I would like to see them converted to the currant rules...Right now I do not have the money for HMBA and my computer is having software conflicts that prevent me from loading Battle Armour Factory I posted the designs here and I wonder if you can bring them into compliance with currant rules

Lvl1 tech only.

Carries at least 3 AC 10s with maximum armor and ideally full jump. Speed doesnt matter since the thrashcan isnt fast.

If you've got the money right now, you can likely get it through Register Now, which will let you just download the program. That's how I got HMA and HMVee.

As for the Battle Armor Forge: don't bother. As I recall, BAF is not based on the new official rules that HMBA is based on. If you want a freeware Battle Armor editor, get the Battle Armor Factory. It's what I'm using at the moment. It's not perfect yet, but it's still quite functional.
