You should head over here. The site is D&D-based, but there are many guys over there who have been gaming for a LOOOOONG time. If you ever need help with role-playing tips, how to deal with players, how to deal with GMs, or just about anything else, the guys there have probably dealt with it many times over.
I'm not intending this to be an advertisement, just a recommendation.

Another thing you're having problems with players or problems with GM's, try talking about it with each other. More often than not, most problems one person feels exists is not apparent to the others in the gaming group. Talk it over without being confrontational. Most people are perfectly capable of being reasonable when discussing one of their favorite hobbies and are usually open to suggestions.

Then find a better group.
