First the light has to get into SRM range alive. Past the tank's weapons. Not a sure thing. And it's not like you'd deploy something like this alone if you were crazy enough to buy one. Something light and fast should be there to protect it. Like an Atlas.

Yeah, if you can afford this beast then you should be able to afford a lance of Atlases to stand next to it. They create a good deterent for that light mech swarm. Just imagine a total of 6 AC 20's, 3 Gauss, 4 LRM 20s and a whole bunch of small lasers. That would make a formidable combination. That sounds more like a Dropships weapons than a (semi)mobile combined arms group.

fine i take it back but still this thing is going to die an awful death and a lance of this with a lance of Atlases reminds me more of a drop ship then anything, cept it cant fly...
