								| Once or twice? I was overseas for seven months... and other than the three days in Budapest, and 18 in Holland... Well, I don't think I need to continue!

								| True story.
When I went to basic for 14 weeks, well it was the longest I had ever been without a girlfriend or my own hand. But I stuck it out because there was NO way I was going to get busted doing the five-finger shuffle in that place...unfortunately not every guy there had sheer willpower I did.

So one night I'm pulling the fire watch and I'm shinning my boots and whatnot and I have to take a piss. I walk through the squadbay to the latrine and I turn the corner and see another recruit right in mid pull. I just turn around and try to walk out...right as one of the junior Drill Instructors walks into the latrine at the same time.

For the rest of the time the DIs hounded this kid relentlessly about whipping it.

								| Same kinda thing for me on my Basic. Right near the end of the course we went out into the field for a week, on our final training exercise (FTX). When we got back in to camp, we stripped off our filthy kit and jumped into the showers before heading off to bed. Well, we're all there, lathering up, miding our own business, when one guy screams out "Hey! It still works!"
Well, we all turn around, and to our horror, buddy is looking down at his happy guy! We all look away and finish up as quick as possible, as he asks for a little alone time!

Things were a little different in 97 during pre-training to go to Bosnia. The shacks we were in had a stall set aside for the special call of nature. It was a nearly never ending parade of guys with spank mags going in and out. I eventually came up with calling it the Holodeck. It was anywhere you really wanted to be! It went so far as to have someone plastering the walls with paper, and then writing down a Star Trek type entry into the Holodeck log everytime he went in!

Alexander (Guys away from home for a long time tend to do strange things!)
