This one I designed for the Comstar Explorer Corps. It's designed to be deployed on a newly discovered planet and then conduct scientific tests on the surface. The Small Laser is included for both path-clearing and defense against hostile life-forms, with the Flamer supplementing the defense role against anything that might be resistant to the laser. There are 5 crewmen: a driver, a navigator/backup driver, a communications officer, and two research technicians. The Vehicle is amphibious (like all good scouts should be). The armor is to help protect the vehicle from hostile creatures and particularly dangerous environments (acidic atmosphere, unusually dense atmosphere, etc).
