My mom saw me reading a battletech book and decided she wanted to show me just how much she knows about the things I am interested in...
Results:

Father used to comment on RPGs and board games using similar words. I wonder why he would think it less of a pastime than playing cards or watching movies?

It definately expands your minds capacity more than playing poker does. All poker does is teach you to lie and makes you lose all your money.
