==Overview:==
After spending almost a decade building up for fighting against the Clans,
the Chaos March has resulted in Davion forces having to go back once again to
the concept of mobile warfare in order to help deal with the bandits, rebels,
and even hostile nations vying for control of the planets there.
Although still in the prototype stage, the Luftkreiger appears to be a
promising unit. It has good armor and average speed for a helicopter of its
size, making it a fairly solid unit to begin with.
The main punch comes from a PPC mounted underneath the fusilage. The
punch from this weapon alone makes the Luftkreiger a threat to all light and
medium vehicles and many light mechs. Backing the PPC up is a pair of
wing-mounted SRM launchers, each with their own ton of ammo. This has raised
the possibiilty that at least one of the launchers will have Inferno ammo at
all times; if this is the case, then the unit now also poses a threat to all
types of infantry as well.

Nice design. The PPC has a good sting for a unit of this size, and the SRMs make a nice backup. The only drawback is the fusion plant. A lot of garrison units won't be able to service this chopper.

No fusion = no chopper. Without the fusion engine, there'd be no way I could cram a PPC onto it and still try and pass it off as anything respectable.

Besides, this is after the clan invasion where money just magically appeared in the IS.

I like this design. Fast and mean.

I think if there was anything remotely resembling the financial institutions of today, all the states would be in major debt by now... no offense, but it would probably exceed the US debt.

On the other hand having a monarchy probably helps.. forced labour might make up for it.
Perhaps recovered tech allows higher production, easier transportation that allows the economy's to flourish just prior to the Clan invasion. Perhaps the IS states have been building up cash reserves, who knows???

On topic, that's a mean chopper.. i like
I'd group these with Hawk Moths and Yellow Jackets... yummy..
