==Overview:==
Apparently based on the BJ-3 chassis, the BJ-4 represents an alternate
take on the machine.
The core of the design is a BJ-1 model; it is from there that the upgrades
are made. The most notable upgrade is that the unit is now faster *and* has
increased jump capability to match. This ability was brought about through the
installation of an XL engine.
The original four medium lasers are untouched, but the twin AC/2s have
given way to twin PPCs. Double Heat Sinks help to soften the heat burden, but
the pilot cannot jump and fire both weapons in the same turn without
generating more heat than the heat sinks can ventilate.
Ferro Fiborus armor has been added as well. Although the unit still does
not have full armor, it has more armor than the original, thereby increasing
the unit's life expentancy.
Although it would be a time-consuming task, the entire BJ-4 model could
actually be done in the field on any stock BJ-1 or possibly even a stock BJ-2
or BJ-3.
