Just wondering who here plays this game online and when. And what your screen name is.
I've just started playing online recently and I'm hooked. I really enjoy the mission play, although the battles are fun to try our new designs. I sign on as Horhiro of course...

I play on occasions whenever i'm in the mood for destroying stuff.  Though I'm usually the one getting destroyed, but hey. I like doing the missions as well, but few ever seem to actually do them. Always just FFAs or just general team battles. And if you're referring to the Zone.com in which you signed up on, I play as Shadow King

Ahh, I am the Renegade, I play online a little bit,
btw, if you don't have it, got to mektek and get the mekpack. Get to play with some fun new (yet old) toys like the Warhammer, marauder and the Urbie!
I'm waiting for mp2, gonna be loads of cool mechs, the Annihilator and Cyclops to name 2.

It is, you get the clan urbie as well, theirs a few others like the Avatar and Strider, but they all look great,
Its funny how the mech pack contains more weapons and mechs than then two 'add-on' mech packs put together.

true, though don't forget the official meckpacks were made for vengeance, not mercs.
I love this game, but at the moment I have to wait till I can format my pc, and reinstall xp before I can play it again. Lots of backing up and clearing up to do 1st.

There is a second mektek expansion on the way with a bunch of new ones: Annihalator, Commando, Hollander II, Grizzly, Rifleman .. etc.

yep and i can't wait! Some serious mechs coming along in this pak, the screen shots look awesome.
I am particularly looking forward to the Annihilator, i thought it was such a bitch in MW3

Ya, but you also need to remember that the official mech paks were made for money. The mektek pak was made for fun. A rather significant difference I believe. 
The one problem I have with the fan pak is that unless you download all those maps and whatever else there are for them, you can hardly even play online because they everyone with that version is using custom maps. Which makes playing rather limited. It was enough trouble to dl the 40m+ file for the mechs, trying for 300+ for the maps just isn't going to happen I think. At least not for me currently.
