Just started workign on this not sure how much I like it.

That's Case II, an ammo explosion will only cause one point of damage and a critical roll. As it should have been from the start. 
The mech mostly just reminds me of a modified Rakshasa. Nasty variant, but not new enough to warrant a name change.
