Ok i was crusin through HMLite and was messin around with the BF2 screens when i noticed a horrendously large error [atleast in my mind.]

The BF2 states for a minotaur are such:

move 3j; damage 7/7/-; armor 9/0; point value 18

firemoth prime

move 10; damage 3/3/-; armor 1/1; point value 10

well as you might imagine i thought this was odd. i checked through everything i could and could not find any evidence to make light of this.

so my question is: is the bf2 listing on HMLite for protomechs auto-maticaly consider them in points of 5 or does it list them solo? if its by point how can i get the value for just one?

thanks.

Your best bet would be to post this over in the program section in the forums at Heavy Metal Pro. I don't have a clue, but Rick or one of the others might.

ProtoMechs, like Clan Battle Armor, are always considered to be in points of 5 units in BattleForce2 (and elsewhere too, for the most part). Wink

Oh, and you'll find basically the same specs for BF2 of ProtoMechs in TR:3060.

yet unlike BA, protomechs can have mixed points. if i wanted 1 mino, 2 roc, and 2 hydra what would there bf2 score[s] be?

this is where i am having the problems. it is the mixed unit that is giving me a headache. as for TRO 3060 i beleave it was stollen [along with several other books like maxtech and my house books.] so i do not have that information anymore.

Just add the values of the desired BF2 points and divide the result with five.

Or divide each ones point value by 5 then add for each individual remember if having 2 of something add it twice no matter if you divide by 5 before or after:
2 rocs = add two rock points or 2/5s of a roc point.
