Okay, I just joined up a few weeks ago, and I already have a question. Ive noticed that at some times I have 'credits'. Theyve gone up and down a bit since ive been here. My questions are, where and how am I getting these things, and what can I spend them on? I know that I can 'buy' a rank, and have, but does the store have all thats available, or will more products be available?
Thanks for any help.

I asked the same question when I first joined and Mordel kindly explained what credits were and how you earn more. Look through the list of topics in General Discussion until you see one from me with the title "Credits". You can also look in the FAQ section for a more detailed explanation.Basically, you earn credits by posting and through winning lottery numbers.
Hopefully this helps.

You use them to buy Beer from Chihawk.

AH! Grand! More of us Canucks in the Bn'G! We should get a table and talk about the Mother country!
"Be afraid, people," Alexander says as he squints one eye, and points accusingly at everyone else!

Welcome DarkAdder! chihawk and myself have noticed you've been very busy with the 'mech reviews! As Havoc already pointed out, you can view his topic for a conversation on credits or look in the FAQ (which needs to be updated, eventually). Here are a couple of links for thos:

As to some of your other questions, the Store contains only that which is currently available. My intent is to add at least 1 item a month, possibly more depending on the cost of it or how I obtained it (eg. gift, was free for doing work, etc). So the products will increase over time. It'll take time for people to accumulate credits, so the books and stuff probably won't be gone for a while.
Anyways, hope you enjoy your stay here, and with any luck, we'll be seeing you again.
PS. Your credits should only be going up (unless you buy something). If you notice anything different, please let me know so I can fix it.

Ha! Sorry to dissapoint you, Alexander, but Im not a natural Canadian. My wife is, though. She and I got married early June 2003. Im originally from a small college town. Ames, Iowa to be precice. Im more isorla or abtaka than a natural.
So if I wanted to put together a Battlemech scrimmage in my area, how much of an early notice should I give people? whats the traditional warning?
