*Slowly, the door to the B&G opens up, and the form coming in is barely seen as he subtely works his way to the bar, taking stock of those around him, and the bartender's unending cleaning of glasses.*
"Sake, please." he says in a small quiet voice, barely audible from the heavy cloak he is wearing around him. "And if your chef is up to it, could I please have an order of Fried rice as well? Thank you."
*After placing his order, he begins to look a little unsettled, glancing around nervously, like he is being followed*

Don't worry, you're not being followed... You're more surrounded than anything.
Welcome to the B&G. I'm the resident drunk. Don't count on me to provide any meanful discourse, for, I'm usually too zooed to do anything more than bang on the keyboard like a three-year old.
Which reminds me... chihawk, another beer please, I can still spell!
Alexander (That's better... jlkhdfl;)

*To Alexander*
"Surrounded? I don't consider being surrounded by men a problem. There are other... more pressing things I worry about. Besides, I know I'm being followed, but what exactly eludes me still. I will figure out what the heck he is soon."
*Jerol turns to his sake, then he suddenly perks up, and begins following something in the air, unseen by the others. He finally jumps up and charges out the door.*

I don't know... maybe I'm a little high on myself, but really, I even found a way to drink until I was drunk most every night in Bosnia with a so called Two can limit imposed. It pays to have your own truck, and a the opportunity to go downtown whenever you want!
Alexander (Okay, okay, *A* resident drunk)

I was off the coast of Liberia when the First one started. Then a decade later my guys were back there doing it all over again.... Can't they get it through their thick skulls, it's cheaper to do it right the first time......
Obviously not......

No argument from me there, they pulled us out of korea to be one of the first units in. Went from -30 deg. to +140 deg. in 18 hours, and then got broke down into Op's on the border. talk about a "fun" coupla weeks. ( could see the BMP's,BDR's, t-55 and t-62/72's less than a mile away and the best we had was 4 LAW's and two stingers. lonley and unclimtized, but that is the Army way.)

*Jerol walks back into the bar, his clothing covered in a thick coat of blood, apparently not his own. Silently, he returns to his drink at the bar, and while ignoring some of the strange looks he is receiving, begins listening to some of the circulating war stories*

"Well," Jerol begins turning to the newcomer who is cursing profusly, "It *used* to be on of the 'figments of my imagintion' as the doc put it. Shoulda seen his face when I brought him the other one... or rather when it saw him. Enough, of that. Sit, eat, drink, and be otherise merry."
