==Overview:==
Much like the slightly larger Defender, the Kiowa is a tadpole shaped
helicopter.

The main difference, however, is in the mission profile. Although the Kiowa
shares the Defender's ease in changing out the load-outs, the Kiowa is still
primarily a reconnassiance unit.

The main load-out is an ECM unit, an Active Probe, and TAG. This assortment of
electronics make the unit more advanced and pricier than its cousin, but the
unit is also noticibly faster as well.



==Variants:==
The primary varient involves stripping out the advanced electronics for
generic sensor pods which are more likely to be had on worlds with less access
to better technologies.

Some commanders use the Kiowa as a hit-and-fade unit, replacing the
electronics with either an LRM or an SRM of some sort or another, with smoke
grenades or machine guns filling up any loose space.


One rare instance has a commander stripping the pods in favor of a cargo hoist
and a slightly more powerful engine. This version was used primarily for
getting towed weaponry in position rapidly.

Nice concept but with those expensive electronics it is a tad slow and the armour is a little thin I would go with ferro-fiborous and up grade the engine to a fusion or possably even an XL so you could have more speed and protection with this init you want to be able to get out of there real quick and it woukld be useful to be able to take a little punishment too if you are going to invest a lot in electronics you might as well invest a little more to make it tougher and harder to hit

its a fluff based recon mo. designed to fill a nitch in a section of the universe text. its like a medical jeep or cargo truck. you'll rairly see them on the map. same goes for this craft, if its on the map a pilot didn't do his job right.

next, this things as hard to hit as they get. there little reason to be crusin around in this thing. it gets +4 to-hit [THE MAX YOU CAN GET IN LVL2 PLAY.]

Kraken here understands the basic universe conventions of unit design. fusion and xl's are left to mechs and aerofighters to use. only special vehicles who benafit from having the extra space will imploy fusions. very few vehicles will ever imploy an xl. there to costly to build and better used else where then on vehicles that may not survive a machine gun hit.

So his design is perfect. It does its job, is inexpensive to build and purchase. and anybody who takes a 6 month course is gonna maintine its engine.

you now. we've tried to relay this stuff to you multiple times. and not just me. your not taking our opinions and game gathered knowledge of what not to do. so i'm done. i've gone as far as i'm allowing myself to share my knowledge with you. so i'm not going to waist my breath no more.
