That would have been #11 for me...IMO it is by far John Wayne's best performance...

Forgot it? I am pretty sure thats grounds for some sort of execution or painful surgery...
Oh yeah...apparently the new movie "Hero" starring Jet Li is worth watching when it comes out. Historical Era martial arts film that has a number of extras that dwarfs Braveheart's count easily...
some of the screens I saw seemed to show that too.

Hmm...I will consider anime in a totally different category myself...
Now, in no particular order
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
Sergeant York
The Lord of the Rings trilogy (even if we haven't seen the last one yet, and yes, I know this is cheating)
the original Star Wars trilogy (yes, another bit of cheating)
Schindler's List
The Last of the Mohicans
Conan the Barbarian
Spartacus
Ben Hur
Shogun (ok...sure, this is a mini series, but...)
If I could go to fifteen, I would add:
Alien, Aliens and Alien Resurrection
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
the Devil's Advocate
the first and last two Highlander movies (yes...I LIKED Highlander Endgame)
Mel Gibson's Hamlet
For anime, it would be:
Princess Mononoke
Macross: Do You Remember Love?
Char's Counterattack
Jin Roh the Wolf Brigade
My Youth in Arcadia
Galaxy Express 999
Adieu Galaxy Express 999 (guess no one can tell who one of my fav storytellers is, can they? )
Armitage the Third Polymatrix
Wings of Honneimmease (ok...I know I got the spelling wrong)
Megazone 23 Part 2
Ruger

We Were Soldiers
Braveheart
