over on the Classic BattleTech message board, and none here, I guess I break the ice with some of the ones I've practiced the rules on...

Here are some Hell's Horses ones...

Fire Mephit (Clan Hell's Horses)
Light VTOL Battle Armor
chassis: 150kg
VTOL Pack: 240kg (6 VTOL MP, 1 Ground MP)
Armor Points: 6-180kg fire resistant armor plate
Weapons and Equipment:
Heavy Flamer-150kg-RA
AP Weapon Mount-5kg-LA
AP Weapon Mount-5kg-LA
Searchlight-5kg-Body
Battle Claw-15kg

Notes:

Developed after Clan Hell's Horses acquired examples of both the Fire Mandrill's Salamander and the Cloud Cobras Sylph battle armor suits, the Fire Mephit was designed to combine the two concepts into one package. The result was something that few Clans had ever found use for before...a recon/search and destroy platform ideal for use against dishonorable opponents based in cities, woods or other easily flammable areas. Although many in the Clan heirarchy decried their production, Khan James Cobb approved the project and it proceded forward. Many speculate that the Khan has a hidden agenda behind the production of this suit; perhaps related to rumors of the Hell's Horses gaining their revenge on Khan Vlad Ward's Clan Wolf and even the Ghost Bear Clan. Able to ignite fires wherever it desires and resist said flames while hunting out fleeing soft targets with its searchlight and anti-personnel weapons, the Fire Mephit somewhat represents a shift in the paradigm of Clan design philosophy that boads ill for the future of the galaxy.

Djinn Clan Power Armor (Light)

chassis: 130kg
VTOL Pack: 210kg (7 VTOL MP)
Armor Points: 2-60kg basic stealth plate-3 slots
2 Armored Gloves

MW3rd stats:

Armor Value: 5/5/5/5
Attribute Modifiers: Str +1
Melee AP: 1
TSM: -1
Movement Modifier: Full, jump capable (special)
ECM: 6, IR: 6

Design Notes:

After Clan Hell's Horses acquired several examples of the Cloud Cobra Sylph flying Battle Armor suit, their scientists had a field day developing the technology to better suit their needs. One such development was the Fire Mephit Light VTOL Battle Armor. While a deadly threat to conventional infantry and even other battlefield targets given the right circumstances, the Horses' researchers still did not feel satisfied, and continued their research in this area, resulting in 2 additional suit types' the Djinn and the Nephilim. The lighter of these, the Djinn, named for the half-human/half-demon air and fire creatures said to inhabit oil lamps in Arabian myth, was unique among Clan suits as it completely lacked any integral armaments, forcing the wearer to carry standard infantry weapons., much as the Inner Sphere Grey Death Scout Battle Armor or the Kage Battle Armors. Designed solely as an ambush and scout platform, the Djinn lacks the armor of heavier designs, giving its wearer only enough protection to withstand a single hit from a 'Mech grade machine gun or single short range missile.

In return, the suit has maneuverability unmatched in any other Battle Armor. Able to outpace even many 'Mechs, the Djinn is truly akin to a one man VTOL. Added to this is the stealth abilities inherent in the armor plating, and Points of these suits often find that they achieve total surprise when assaulting an enemy or reconnoitering an enemy base camp. This has led some units, particularly the Hell's Horses Iota Galaxy, suprisingly the first unit to receive the new suit, to develop tactics that one would not expect from the Clans, such as setting ambushes, hit and fade assaults and similar guerilla warfare type combat strategies. Although other Clans have called these tactics into question, most Hell's Horses commanders refuse to stop using the suits once they have seen them in action.

Perhaps the most surprising aspect of these suits is the fact that many of their pilots are not of the Elemental phenotype, nor even freeborn. Indeed, a major percentage, approaching 35%, are actually of the fighter pilot phenotype. After having failed both their primary and secondary Trials of Position, it was decided to allow these individuals one final chance to join their Clan as warriors. Although some initial problems resulted from the installation of these tertiary trials, the furor has since died down, as it was found that few commanders appreciated being given troops that had failed to gain warrior status in two trials. This is the primary reason Iota Galaxy was the first to receive these new suits and their pilots. Their performance with this unit has since garnered some grudging respect from the rest of the Clan, although full acceptance is still slow in coming.

Nephilim Medium Clan VTOL Battle Armor

Chassis: 250kg
VTOL Pack: 300kg (5 VTOL MP)
Armor Points: 7-175kg standard plate
Weapons and Equipment:
Support Particle Cannon-240kg-2 slots-RA
Battle Claw-15kg-LA
2 AP Weapon Mounts-10kg-2 slots-Body
1 AP Weapon Mount-5kg-1 slot-LA
Searchlight-5kg-1 slot-Body
ECM: 6, IR: 6

Design Notes:

The final design result of the Hell's Horses research into flight capable Battle Armor, the Nephilim, named for the children of fallen angels found in the Bible, is regarded as a powerful design that the Clan's enemies have come to fear seeing approach on the horizen or bursting from cover. Combining impressive flying abilities, moderate armor and heavy firepower, the Nephilim has made a real name for itself on the battlefield.

First put into action during Clan Hell's Horses invasion of the Wolf Clan Occupation Zone, the Nephilim quickly became known for being able to outrange many other Battle Armors and to choose the location of the battlefield to their advantage due to their inate mobility. Their primary weapon, a support-class PPC could hit its targets at ranges greater than the Wolf battle armors once their short range missiles were expended, and their array of anti-personnel weapons usually made short work of the Solahma infantry units they encountered. Especially when considering the fact that the Horses almost always field combined arms units and with impressive new equipment like the Nephilim, it should come as no surprise that they were able to quickly overwhelm their opposition during their conflict with the Wolves.

What do you think? I never did get around to figuring out MW3rd stats for two of these...maybe I'll go back and do that now...

And one for the Magistry of Canopus...if Old Dog were still here, I'm sure the ancient hound would love this one...

Amazon Knight medium Battle Armor
chassis: 175kg
Jump Pack: 150kg
Jump Booster: 125kg-2 slots, body (4 Jump MP total)
Additional Ground MP: +2 (3 ground MPtotal)-80kg
Armor Points: 4-220kg basic stealth plate-3 slots (2 LA, 1 body)
Weapons and Equipment:
Magshot Gauss Rifle-175kg-3 slots-RA
Battle Claw with vibroblades-50kg-LA
AP Weapon Mount-5kg-1slot-LA
Heat Sensors-20kg-1 slot-Body

CBT RPG Stats:
Armor Value: 5/6/6/5
Attribute Modifiers: Str+2
Melee AP: 1
Coverage: Full
Target Size Modifier: -1
Movement Modifier: +3/+6/+9, jump capable
ECM: 6, IR: 6

Although receiving a much later start in the development of battle armor than the Inner Sphere, the Magistry of Canopus did possess one advantage: their alliance with the Capellan Confederation. Taking over the research from one of the defunct designs their allies had declined to pursue, the Magistry was quickly able to begin fielding their own battle suit in a relatively short period of time. However, their limited budget and relative newness of the use of such armor in their ranks has resulted in most of these suit going to special forces and other such units at the present time. However, for those units that have been issued them, the Amazon Knight has quickly gained much favor. Assigned to only female warriors, these suits and their wearers are rapidly becoming feared by the enemies of the Magistry.

Shaped to appear distinctly feminine, the Amazon Knight has deceived many who see them into underestimating the suit. This rarely occurs twice once its opponents learn of its heavy firepower and extreme mobility. Equipped with a Magistry developed copy of the Federated Suns Magshot Gauss Rifle, created from examples salvaged off several battlefields during the St. Ives conflict and those of the FedCom Civil war, the suit can make itself a credible threat even to 'Mechs, and at distances unsurpassed in the dreams of most infantry. Up close, the suit is also a threat, especially to infantry, thanks to its anti-personnel gun, and the retractable vibroblade that is hidden in its left arm. To ensure that it can find its targets, especially enemy infantry, the suit comes equipped with an extensive sensors suite that can detect the most minute change in the heat of the surroundings. The suit is also far more maneuverable than most, as every consideration was given to ensuring that the wearer has complete freedom of movement. Even the suit's leg servos are designed to increase the running speed of the suit's occupant, allowing them to run upwards of 35+kph without taxing themselves more than they would at a normal pace. Combined with the extended jump radius allowed by the jump pack system in the suit, the Amazon Knight has become recognized as the most maneuverable battle suit in existence.

Of course, this firepower and maneuverability due come at a price...namely armor protection. Although better than the mere ballistic plate the common soldier might wear, the armored shell of the Amazon Knight is not extremely durable, only to absorb the weakest of laser hits, a couple blasts by machine guns or perhaps the impact of a few missiles. Most Magistry pilots, however, feel the tradeoff is worth it, and few have complained for the lack.

Yes...this last one looks like a variation on some of the Bubblegum Crisis suits...

"Energy dart thingies"? I don't recall ever seeing those...their suits had monomolecular wires, vibro-daggers, vibro-swords, laser cannons, knuckle and leg booms, jet assisted kicks, electronics suites, S-mines and gauss weaponry...
