I used to love "Enemy in Sight" by Avalon Hill, a great sailing naval combat game. But it did put a few friendships to the test.
And Hardware, NO! No ghoul with the runesword! And Tom can't have the Knight with the Cross. Instead, I will be the Monk with the Warhorse....MMMWWWHAAHaAAHaA!

Wooden ships and Iron men was one of the very first wargames I ever played.. Fantastic game.
I am also partial to Circus Maximus as anyone who ever played Battletech maximus might understand.
Other Games include.. Vor, AD&D, Starcraft, AoE2.. and a few others.

Board Games: Axis and Allies, Stratego (not really that great). chess, checkers, risk
PC: Baldur's Gate series, Icewind Dale series, Diablo 2, most strategy games (Metal Fatigue is another mecha game that is pretty cool), and of course (i am losing a good chunck of my life here) WIZARDY 8! Now think, what would an AvP boardgame be like? would it be cool? or would it be lame? It could be awesome if done just right (my way of course!)

i would have to go with Axis and allies, monopoly, a game called "space hulk" an Ernie Hamms Creation that combines Aliens with Wh40K on a derilict ship. this guy runs the game so good that u do not mind dying at all becuase your laughing your butt off too much. anyway back to the subject: Star Trek Armada, Seekrieg, Man-o-war, Marrow project etc.

D+D; once did Hero Quest (but my friend had the game and he moved; and the local consignment shop wants $30 for a set, which I don't have until I start mowing again), and Middle Earth. I am hoping to eventually have enough to get some Hackmaster materials.
