You know, I've never been to one except for a local one here in town. But it has occured to me that I would be willing to arrange some vacation time for me and my credit card to attend one of the big conventions if I could know well in advance when and where they were. Instead I never hear about how great they were until afterwards.
So does anyone out there know of a website that I could surf that could tell me this information?

I've never been to any of the real BIG ones, like GenCon and the sort. I know a few people that have been to that and Origins. Don't know of any web sites for them though, but I'm sure they exist!

go to Wizards of the Coast Website, they have links to GenCon and Origins there. Lots of Pics to see and event listings.

Origins doesnt have as much Btech as it did before. Both the Origins Open and Gunslinger were run by Fasa so they were not there. But someone did run a Semi-Gunslinger there which was pretty fun.
Dont know anything about GenCon though.

Whoa!! kinda far from me here in Dallas. Where they have A-Kon and AnimeFest every year. With some decent Btech games going.

Well anybody in south Florida, there is a con in Orlando. I know the guys that are putting on a couple of battletech games. These guys are good. if you want more info let me know at Pinkfloyd214@cs.com

Problem is that some Cons are big Btech and others are not. The games at the Con usally reflect which games are strong in that region. Add to that the strength of a game ebbs and flows.
AWAD- I thing Btech is on an upswing in SE Michigan
