MARVEL'S PIECE OF THE PIE: Recently, The Beat came across the following chart showing how Marvel's movie deals breakdown. The Beat cannot vouch for its accuracy, but it is a good summary of what studio has which character. "Bad Deal" refers to a "Hollywood accounting" deal, where Marvel gets a small amount of money upfront against potential revenues that never appear thanks to "Hollywood accounting." The first date shows the year the deal was entered into (this may be of some interest to Stan Lee.) The second shows the year the movie came out or is slated for release.
