          BattleTech Vehicle Technical Readout
                      VALIDATED

Type/Model:    Kiseki DWA-5A
Tech:          Inner Sphere / 3067
Config:        Tracked Vehicle
Rules:         Level 2, Custom design

Mass:          100 tons
Power Plant:   100 I.C.E.
Cruise Speed:  10.8 km/h
Maximum Speed: 21.6 km/h
Armor Type:    Standard
Armament:
  1 Autocannon/10
  2 SRM 4s
  2 LRM 20s
Manufacturer:  (Unknown)
  Location:    (Unknown)
Communications System:  (Unknown)
Targeting & Tracking System:  (Unknown)

==Overview:==
     Diadoji Weapons and Armor was contracted by House Davion to build a
prototype heavy seige tank. This was the result of that contract, and while
now who constructed this prototype we were unable to confirm from where mos
the parts originated.

==Capabilities:==
     The Kiseki is truely a rock, and like a rock it can withstand the cons
crashing of the sea of combat. Armor plating that takes up 20 percent of th
vehicles mass and intergrated CASE make this vehicles tough and safe to
opperate. Its only draw back is the extremely slow traveling speed, equatin
this vehicle to a turtle.

     But this turtle has bit in the form of a large bore hyper-velocity
autocannon thats loaded by a 5 ton magazine of armor peircing shells. This
monster cannon can disable and destroy other tanks in as little as one shot
punching holes thru the thickest armor like a hot knife to butter and seeki
out critical systems.

     To back up this monster are twin SRM racks, used to eleminate infantry
further cripple vehicles. Cappable of launching 8 independently guided miss
each able to get between armor plates or wound a pair of infantry soldiers,
even the most well train unit would be cautious of straying to close.

     The last, but by far not the least potent weapon system are the twin L
racks each able to fire 20 group guidence munitions. Able to pound units th
try to stay out side its cannon range up to 240 seconds or 4 minutes, which
will shack the nerves of even veteran tank crews.

     So near or far this tank can pound you to its mercy. As if this wasen'
enough DWA was ordered by house davion to link its fire control system in t
NAIS designed targeting computer, which drasticly improves the crews abilit
hit each time there main cannon is fired. We of the blessed order fear that
these tanks could disturbe many things.

==Variants:==
     There are rumors that several variants are being considered, the one w
managed to confirm as a definent test variant rudeces the LRM racks from 20
15, removes two tons of LRM ammo, adds Artimes IV FCS to the LRM's, upgrade
the SRM racks to Streak Racks, and adds an AMS with 4 tons of ammo.

     This variant if constructed should retain the same average LRM impact
ratio, while increasing its SRM impact ratio, and reducing its vulnerabilit
missiles. A truely scary but costly variant.

==Deployment==
     At this time only one has been produced and is being tested on NAIS
proving grounds.

I don't know dude...at 1-2 you're going to need a lot more than an AC10 and a couple SRMs to defend yourself, even with AP rounds for the AC...

like i said, the only draw back.

thou its cheep..... you can buy 3 to 1 against mechs. make a good base or open terrain defender.

          BattleTech Vehicle Technical Readout
                      VALIDATED

Type/Model:    Kiseki DWA-5F
Tech:          Inner Sphere / 3067
Config:        Tracked Vehicle
Rules:         Level 2, Custom design

Mass:          100 tons
Power Plant:   200 Nissan Fusion
Cruise Speed:  21.6 km/h
Maximum Speed: 32.4 km/h
Armor Type:    Ferro-Fibrous
Armament:
  1 Autocannon/20
  1 Streak SRM 4
  1 LRM 20 w/ Artemis IV
  2 Medium Lasers
Manufacturer:  (Unknown)
  Location:    (Unknown)
Communications System:  (Unknown)
Targeting & Tracking System:  (Unknown)

==Overview:==
     Diadoji Weapons and Armor was contracted by House Davion to build a
prototype heavy seige tank. It seems they where infact contracted to build two
prototypes.

==Capabilities:==
     The Kiseki F is a higher priced variant that has recently been spotted
opperating on the NAIS testing ground. Like the WW2 Tiger when compared to a
Panther, the differences are vaste. The first thing we noticed was that the
emmision levels of the F where different, further annalyses proved that instead
of an ICE engine the F uses a Fusion Core.

     The second noticable difference was in the form of a extra large bore
hyper-velocity autocannon that we assume is loaded by a 10 ton magazine of
armor peircing shells. This super monster cannon can disable and destroy other
tanks in one shot and several mech too.

     To back up this monster are is a single Streak SRM rack instead of twin
SRM racks. Only capable of launching 4 independently guided homing missiles
Then the twin LRM racks where replaced by a single rack assisted by an Artimes
IV FCS. Providing about 60 to 70 percent of the A's LRM firepower.

      The Targeting Computer on the other prototype is still retained but is
now linked to an additional two weapons. These are Twin Medium Class Lasers
mounted co-axial the main gun. These changes nearly triple the short range fire
power, increased armor protection, and double the vehicles cruising speed.

     We of the blessed order fear that these tanks could disturbe many things
in perticularly this version.

Well, as a siege tank the ICE version is quite convincing. Lots of firepower to rain down on enemy positions, some self-defence.
I`d still take a bunch of LRM carriers instead, just on account of them being more common. You can always attach some other unit to handle their close-in defence. Like a few old Enforcer mechs equipped with the specialty AC ammo?

The Fusion version, on the other hand... OUCH! That`s a real killer for city ambushes and other hidden unit scenarios. Medium mechs will lose an arm and a leg, and even heavies shouldn`t feel safe. And once it has used up the AC ammo it`s still got a nice LRM rack to support friendly units with. Or, in case you just deploy as normal and start up with IDF, the enemies who come running to kill you will be in deep deep trouble as they`re likely to be lights or medium mechs

That is a heck of a lot of ammo for the main gun in the Fusian version.

For AP ammo that's only 20 shots of AC ammo....and with 4 tons of LRM ammo you can take some Swarm or Thunder and still have plenty of regular to do its job.

25 AP rounds to be exact, and with a possible crit at only -1 added to the 20pts of damage, tied to target comp.... ouch.

everything caN FIRE for or near 25 turns of constant fire. thats why theres so much ammo. its built to seige defenses that require more then 12 turns to defeat. extended battles.

No 20...each ton is 2.5 shots, which per the rules is rounded to 2.
