Yes I saw the enhancement request already. I look forward to the option.
PS. Did you ever use Heavy Metal Aero? It has design features that let you copy bays and arcs to paste them into other bays and arcs. Megamek does not, which makes designing with it a pain. I often get stuff installed into one arc, and then manually edit the .blk rather then use the GUI.
Megamek does have copy from one side to the other though which is nice.
The entire concept will cause issues though. You would effectively be adding equipment from the allocate equipment tab.
