Overview:
    Originally designed for combat in the Solaris VII arenas, the Clamshell would find use in
    armed forces as defensive fire support. Its twin large shields, while slowing it down, allow
    it to weather more fire than it would be able to with its armor alone.
    
    The Clamshell II version is based on the 6E and utilizes Clantech & 5 extra tons to bring
    heavier firepower. However, even 18 double heat sinks and a Combat Computer cannot handle
    firing all the weapons at once, and the use of a XXL engine renders it very expensive.
