Here are some proposed multiple engine rules.
Any vehicle can mount more than one engine, but certain disadvantages come with it.
1)Building a vehicle with more than one engine. All rules for engines apply, so a 100 ton vehicle can only use the 100, 200, 300 and 400 series engines as normal. The engines do NOT need to be the same size, however.
2)Engine rating: To get the engine rating, add the multiple MP each engine gives, then subtract the humber of engines there are. So, if a 100 ton tank had twoo 400 series engines (4 cruising MP each) the total power number will be 6 (4+4-2=6).
3)Criticals: Use the engine rating to figure out how many "Spaces" the engine will use. The first number of the engine is how many spaces it takes, so a 300 would take 3 extra spaces on the vehicle. Use the 2nd and 3rd numbers to help round. If an engine is rated at 325, it gets rounded down, and a 375 gets rounded up to four spaces. A 350 gets rounded up, anything below gets rounded down.
4)Damage. Should the engine be hit, all normal effect will happen, including the loss of MP. If an engine is destroyed, the second engine will take over and provide movement at a -1 for the rest of the life of the tank.

Not a bad idea. Here are some changes I propose, though.
1)Building a vehicle with more than one engine. All rules for engines apply, so a 100 ton vehicle can only use the 100, 200, 300 and 400 series engines as normal. The engines do NOT need to be the same size, however.
How about: The total engine rating needs to conform to standard engine rules, but the individual engines can be of any size such that the sum of their ratings = total engine rating.
Furthermore VTOL's must have balanced engines (divide total engine rating by 2 and round up to the nearest engine size).
2)Engine rating: To get the engine rating, add the multiple MP each engine gives, then subtract the humber of engines there are. So, if a 100 ton tank had two 400 series engines (4 cruising MP each) the total power number will be 6 (4+4-2=6).
How about we just add the engines. I don't think there is going to be such a dramatic power loss with the addition of a second engine.
4)Damage. Should the engine be hit, all normal effect will happen, including the loss of MP. If an engine is destroyed, the second engine will take over and provide movement at a -1 for the rest of the life of the tank.
How about: if an engine is destroyed cruise mp is halved (round down), and flank is recalculated.
