Ok this will be a more indepth post then Hobbit's post below!

Ok. First off, we waited about for players but they didn't show, but then we came up with the bright idea of actually playing ourselves to show off how great it was!! Then Mordel and Chihawk started sending us players (very nice of them btw!) and things got going.

Our first game was a four round (2 minutes and 36 seconds) duel. I used a VTOL (WH-1 Warthog) and Hobbit was in a mecha unit (M1 Mace). The first turn we just moved towards each other, the second turn I managed to nail him with a charged up Rail Gun, and some cannon fire, the third round we moved about again, and then on the fourth I charged his position, took some hits, but put enough fire power into his mecha that it collapsed. Lots of fun! Brutal and quick.

The second game was the one Hobbit mentioned, a two round game with him in the Warthog and me on the ground in the Mace. I beat him with two 80mm Cannons and he just sorta fell apart in the air. it was brutal but fun fun!

The fourth game was 6 rounds long, lasted about twenty minutes and was a four on four game. i had four heli's against two heli's and two ground units. I won with two losses and one near loss (only ten points of internal structure left, and not a single critical thank god!). It was fast based and brutal and lots of fun!

The last game was between Dead-Fish and another noninvolved person. It lasted about an hour and seemed to be enjoyable on both sides. Lots of rules questions were brought up, which was good, and it seemed everyone had fun. I don't know what their personal thoughts were (though Dead-Fish indicated he enjoyed it! WOOHOO!) but i'm hoping that next year they'd be willing to buy the first rule books!

Overall it was very successful. People enjoyed the game and had a good time, and hopefully next year we'll have minitures and rule books and more people will want to play!
