Variants:
The JM6-X JagerMech decreased the size of the fusion core and replaces the light autocannons
and their ammo with two Magna Hellstar particle cannons, extra heat sinks and a small amount
of armor. Although this vastly improved the firepower of the BattleMech, it also decreases
the ground speed by 25%. Additionally, even with the extra heat sinks, the design cannot
long handle the increased heat output of the particle cannons, and the increased armor is
not enough to make a difference in most battles. All told, the JM6-X was deemed a failure
during testing and full production was not implemented.
