Capabilities:
The Mirv is what happens when you start solving a problem in the dumbest way possible.
You'd think that taking on a warship with mechs should be impossible, but by the power of
LAMs and high speed passes enough firepower can exist in a single spot in space to remove a
warship from existence.
Deployment:
The Mirv is really just the weapon. The actual work horse is the Dropship that positions it
on the course that will generate an intercept at sufficient velocity that kinetic energy
dominates the engagement . Once on that path all the Mirv needs to do is match any evasive
maneuvers the target attempts.
Recovery is also done by the carrier, swinging back after the pass to pick up survivors. Of
which there should be plenty. Any LAM thats actualy targeted is toast, even if it was
armored, but cockpits do tend to survive in the mass of wreckage.
Variants:
None. This entire project came up with a solution, and was rejected as too niche to be
worth putting resources into.
