According to Mordel, a topic like this would fit here. I'll be making a couple posts for reserving space (juuust in case) but replies are welcome for comments, ideas and what-not.
Generally, this is mostly for me to categorize and sort out my OC-do-not-steal factions and their definitely-original-for-real-,-guys units.
I'll also make a separate post per faction, for my own convenience.
In case anyone's curious, this is where I asked about where a subject like this would go.
Update 1: I've included a map to the Battletech Universe that, while outdated, should allow for quick and easy understanding of locations.
The map
Update 2: Thanks for the reviews! I intent to add a bunch more units to the listing, both Blackshield and otherwise, so keep 'em coming!
Hope you're enjoying the fluff of said units, at least those parts that are completed XD
Also, to OOCly explain the perhaps weird fixation with rear armor; I have PTSD from MechWarrior Online's light 'mech flankings and the games I've played in tabletop with my friends have only made it worse... so many damn flankers...

THE BLACKSHIELD COMPANY
(W.I.P. | some missing lore & info!)
History
Originating from the SLDF, the Blackshield Company began as only a small void navy task force. Numbering 3 escorts and a cruiser, the task force was both too far and not sufficiently loyal to the legendary Kerensky in order to form up with his part of the SLDF and escape with the predecessors of the clans.
Instead, Commodore Lysander Vol Hansen led the small group through their own, far less noteworthy escape out of the galaxy; various refugees of all kinds joining them along the way and eventually forming a rag-tag flotilla of vessels both civilian and military in origin.
Though numerous, the disorganized and ever-mobile nature of the "fleet" necessitated a somewhat strict approach to leadership so as to keep everyone in check. This eventually led to a pseudo-cult of personality centered around the Commodore and his family who began to be positioned and treated more as some form of military themed royalty rather than just superior officers.
Their odyssey eventually led them past the territories of what is now the Magistracy of Canopus around the Perseus-Sepherus Cloud Complex. In the gap of the complex located Spinwards of Melidron, the fleet arrived at what what was deemed and very well may have been, a miracle. A star system with planets of habitable nature; not only that but one of said habitable planets was a moon its larger counterpart, allowing for far easier travel between the two worlds that normal.
The planets alone would have been enough by themselves. At their current secluded location and with most of the fleet suffering from fatigue and increasing desperation, it was as if their every hardship had been finally rewarded. The system itself was named "New Ultima" by the Commodore, with the sun itself carrying the name and each planet given a rather simple name that acted as a play on words; a simple gesture of humor that helped raise people's spirits.
From smallest to largest, these planets were named:
Primucon: A small and uninhabitable moon around the same planet as Ducon, without atmosphere that was no less rich in metals and minerals.
Ducon: The habitable moon, estimated to be roughly half of Terra's size, with large Pangea reminiscent landmasses.
Tertiaron: The main habitable world upon which the first colony was built, estimated roughly 1.7 times the size of Terra and largely continental, with over 80% of the surface being covered in water.
Quadron: Second largest stellar body in the system, the planet is effectively a colossal ball of ice consisting almost entirely of water with a high concentration of salt.
Quinticon: The largest body in the star system besides the sun, it is a gas giant with a thin asteroid belt.
(Note: Map names & info are outdated, will be fixed later today!)
Starting with Tertiaron as the first colony, the Blackshield Company began to settle the system over time. As years turned into decades, more and more of the fleet's vessels were cannibalized for resources, materials and machinery. This admittedly regrettable process allowed the fledgling colonies to quickly establish themselves and thrive until, finally, only a handful of jumpships one ship remained; the Commodore's original cruiser, nicknamed "Cerberus", which itself had received a fair amount of the cannibalized jumpships' parts and components.
Similarly, over time, the original Commodore would step down from leadership with his son, Lavernicus Vol Hansen, taking his place and eventually passing his position to his own firstborn son, Thorodin Vol Hansen. A son whose enthusiasm for the name has never been quite the same as his father's. A Military Junta born more out of necessity and lack of alternatives more-so than any amount of greed or lust for power, the Blackshield Company has suffered surprisingly little political turbulence due to a mixture of careful governance and genuine care for the fledgling nation's wellbeing from those who live within it, largely motivated by fear of those who exist outside of it.
Over the course of these decades, the name 'Blackshield Company' stuck, a title once belonging to the original task force and later the migrant fleet, there has never been any significant or noteworthy to change this name despite how ill fitting it may seem. Largely due to a mixture of pride and historical importance, this name has stuck by and has come to be seen as a badge of historical honor by those classified by it.
At the end of the third decade, the decision was made to load up the warship and two of the remaining jumpships with supplies, equipment and a lot of manpower with which to travel back into the edges of the inner sphere in order to inspect the situation. The original hope was for the great war to have ended. Instead, they found themselves performing extensive mercenary work for the houses. Work with which they obtained a significant amount of useful salvage as well as information on the current status quo.
Since then, it has been common practice to perform these incursions into spheroid space in order to obtain information, certain supplies as well as occasional components with which to maintain their ships. A tradition which also includes a stop by Canopus space during the return trip. An event very much looked forward to by the vast majority of those returning home.
Views on foreign powers
The great houses: Despite the various differences between them, the general perception of the great houses is rather uniform. Seen as a simple fact of life, the people of the Blackshield Company hold no great resentment towards any specific house despite being once part of the SLDF, viewing the fall of the Star League as a sad inevitability and ideas of recreating it as an exercise in futility and repeating the mistakes of the past. Nevertheless, this lack of resentment does not equate to any form of trust as the houses are regarded in the same way one would regard any power-hungry warlord.
Inner Sphere civilians: Largely seen as victims of their own fate, the common people of the inner sphere are mostly regarded with a a slight bit of pity yet also respect for their hardiness. With endless wars and under constant threat, their willingness to remain where their homes are and defend them if need be is regarded with great respect by both the Expeditionary Corps that meet them and the people back in New Ultima who hear about them. Nevertheless, there have also been many cases of said civilians requesting to join the Blackshield Company in new Ultima, resulting in limited recruitment of new blood. In the few cases of spies being part of said new blood, they usually learn too late that one may only be part of an expedition once... and that New Ultima does not have any form of FTL communications with the inner sphere.
Canopus: A predictable stand-out of foreign relations, Canopus is commonly perceived as some form of promised land for those that survive the great expeditions, even more so considering one can join said expeditions only once. A source of great revelry, insane tales and outright idiotic myths, the true reason why relations between the two nations have been so positive is because the Blackshield Company has no use for C-Bills back home and thus makes no effort to conserve them right before their great return trip. Hundreds of thousands if not outright millions of C-Bills are spent every time an expedition passes through before their return, resulting in an equally positive and welcoming approach from Canopus's locals and further fueling the endless, albeit slow, cycle. It is also worth noting that for this same reason, Canopus is always the first to be informed of an expedition's start and the first to be offered a contract.
The Clans: With little information on who they truly are besides the basics, the clans are the truest boogeyman of the Blackshield Company. Believed to be the inhuman results of Kerensky's mad vision, their ritualistic approach to combat and at best eccentric lifestyles has only made this misinterpretation worse over time. Even those who are genuinely well educated view the clans as psychopathic warmongers who care only to enslave all whom they meet under their borderline alien rule. Those who lack said academic education could quite easily be convinced that the clansmen are literal aliens who simply took on the forms of humans after bio-merging with Kerensky's forces, or any other made up nonsense of similarly extreme nature. Nevertheless, the results are the same; despite their innumerable similarities in origin, to the point of some Spheroids even referring to them as a lost clan (and then getting punched for it), the Blackshield Company would sooner fight to the point of eradication than allow the clans a way to reach New Ultima.
Nevertheless, there have been a handful of rare instances over the decades in which the Blackshield Company found itself in relatively peaceful contact with members of the Clans. The first of such was the Wolf's Dragoons while they were still undercover. Though barely counting as an example due to the secretive nature of their origins and traditions, the Wolf's Dragoons have retroactively proven to be one of the only positive examples of the Clans, albeit only partially so as they themselves turned against the clans.
The second major instance of non-violent contact with the clans was with Clan Nova Cat, when the Expeditionary Corps fought under the the employ of the Draconic Combine. Though not directly in the same battlefield, the Expeditionary Corps supported one of the Clan's primary supply lines for a time, resulting in regular contact with Nova Cat's forces for the purposes of coordination. While overtly professional, both sides were ultimately unable to do more than simply function together as the glorification of the warrior caste inherent to all clans as well as Clan Nova Cat's own spiritualist traditions made their attempts at genuine diplomacy with the Blackshield Company lead nowhere.
Inner Sphere mercenaries: In an ironic or perhaps fitting twist of fate, the Blackshield Company harbors neither camaraderie nor respect for other mercenaries. Despite being effectively a big merc' company themselves, they consider their decision to be one of both necessity and of superior moral intent due to the nature of their contracts. As such, the vast majority of 'mechs for hire are seen as little more than greed-driven adrenaline junkies who couldn't be trusted to stand guard for five minutes if it meant losing out on a 2% increase in pay. Few exceptions exist to this rule, the most notable being the Wolf's Dragoons who were initially seen as worthwhile professionals but are nowadays regarded with a mix of aversion and suspicion on account of their clan heritage. Nevertheless, the Blackshield Company will not shy away from working alongside other mercenaries if needed or ordered to, leading to few and only minor issues over time.
Notable entities
Hercules ReZipp (Corporation): A blatant rip-off of the venerable Zippo company of Terra, Hercules ReZipp has nonetheless found great success in simply being the people who actually managed to reproduce those same old designs. From simple lighters to heavy duty flamethrowers, Hercules ReZipp Ltd. has become a staple across the Blackshield Company despite the numerous competitors and rivals that have sprung up over time.
Saria Inc. (Corporation): One of, if not the oldest corporation within New Ultima, Saria Inc. was formed by the sons and daughters of communication and sensor operators from the old fleet. Initially specializing in computer systems, they found true success in recreating Laser technologies, creating their own full fledged Small, Medium and Large lasers along with the necessary targeting systems for operating them.
Cascade Arms (Corporation): Originally founded with the stated goal of producing and selling atmospheric aircraft, Cascade arms almost shut down due to the overwhelming competition and a lack of production capacity. A last-ditch effort was made to keep the company afloat by focusing on more sustainable merchandise, resulting in the creation of various missile systems with impressive performance.
Fuse-Tec (Corporation): An inevitable yet no less important titan of industry, Fuse-Tec was formed with one express purpose; recreate the fusion engine technology that the Blackshield Company so desperately needed. Though it took over a decade to succeed with multiple close calls of potentially losing funding, the now innumerable Fuse-Tec engines are a foundation upon which the entire star system relies.
SamCo (Corporation): Formed by a splinter of Saria Inc., SamCo was originally little more than a civilian telephone company that managed to etch a name for itself by constructing the first truly dedicated communications array between Tertiaron and Primucon, utilizing laser antennas, satellites, planetary orbit and a lot of government funding to do so. This event catapulted them ahead of other corporations and granted them a level of recognition equal to Saria Inc. itself.
BlackShield Manufacturing (Governmental): A catch-all for all state research and production, BlackShield Manufacturing (BSM), is not even a real corporate entity yet has no less of an effect upon the market. Acting as a form of subsidiary to the state, they have their own hierarchy, product lineup, factories and sources of income through regular trade yet are also directly obligated to directly prioritize all commissions and requests from the actual state.
Tertiaron Defense Force (Military): First of the two only permanent corps in the Blackshield Company, the Tertiaron Defense Force (TDF) is the largest military formation in the entire system and is technically led by the Commodore himself. Despite this technicality, the TDF has a proper general as all corps do; always someone to whom the Commodore shows a great deal of trust and who has at engaged in at least one large scale conflict as a commanding officer of a temporary corps.
Primucon Defense Force (Military): Second of the two only permanent corps in the Blackshield Company yet no less notable, the Primucon Defense Force (PDF) is often regarded as the less recognized elite of New Ultima. With a culture of friendly rivalry against both temporary corps and the TDF, Primucon's permanent Corps has proven its worth time and again in both internal combat exercises and true live fire engagements, often seeming more competent than even the TDF as a result.
Expeditionary Corps (Military/Diplomatic): A mixture of mercenary force and diplomatic liaisons, the Expeditionary Corps is seen by many as the ultimate opportunity or the lynchpin on their career, depending on their rank. Almost all generals have always received their promotions from their contributions during the great expeditions. Similarly, countless lesser officers are promoted with honors depending on their service and even regular troops can receive significant benefits and recognition for being part of an expedition, thus always keeping interest in joining the Expeditionary Corps quite high. Notably, however, one may be part of the expeditionary corps only once in their lifetime.
Impatriated Clanners (Military/Governmental): Against all odds, there have been a handful of Clanners who have managed to be Impatriated into the Blackshield Company over time thanks to their efforts. These individuals, rare in number though they are, hold a great deal of the Blackshield Company's attention as they are usually assigned in fairly noteworthy positions such as 'mech instructors, strategic advisors or other similarly important duties. Fittingly, they are afforded a lifestyle of superior comfort to most. Partially, this is to make up for the alienation they are expected to experience within New Ultima but it is also a means of rewarding their cooperation and proving the Blackshield Company's genuine appreciation for the dedication these individuals have shown.
Formations
Due to it's significantly smaller scale and far more condensed territories, the Blackshield Company's military formations have changed over the years to better suit the available quantity of units. Focusing less on numbers, the Company's formations are instead formed primarily with a given purpose in mind, allowing for commanders to better optimize the use of their limited resources.
Section: Made up of 3 'units', mainly vehicles or infantry platoons. Units in a Section are almost always the same exact model for reasons of uniformity. Exceptions to this rule exist but are rare and meant for specialized tasks, such as "Command" or "Aerial artillery".
Sections are generally led by a Lieutenant.
Task force: Made up of anywhere from 3~6 Sections. One Section is always a "Command group" which provides communication and leadership to the others. Task forces are usually made with a specific role or 'theme' in mind, such as "Heavy assault", "Garrison", "Recon", "Deep strike" and "Logistics".
Task forces are generally led by a Captain.
Contingent: Made up of anywhere from 3~12 task forces. One Task force is always a dedicated "Logistics" task force which includes the Contingent's leadership. Contingents are made with the purpose of handling a frontline, hence the wide variation in size. Rarely, contingents can be made without a specific frontline in mind, such as an impressively large garrison force or an extensive spearhead force.
Contingents are generally led by a Colonel.
Corps: Made up of 2 or more Contingents, a Corps is a catch-all term for the entire force dedicated to a single large scale operation. A Corps could be created for the initial invasion of a planet, the occupation of a continent or the defense of either such.
Corps are generally led by a General.
There are currently only two permanents Corps within the system of New Ultima, each dedicated to the protection of Tertiaron and Primucon respectively.
Due to it's small population and dense gatherings, Ducon's defense is only made up of a single, sizeable Contingent which overseer the distribution and organization of the various task forces throughout the population centers and key points of the planet.
Lastly, one more Corps is always created when a new expedition into the inner sphere begins.
While always made with different numbers and rarely having more than a handful of veterans from the last expedition due to the gap in time between such, the so called 'Expeditionary Corps' is formally acknowledged as a permanent military entity.
This is both for reasons of respect but to also ensure that the preparation for the next expedition remains in people's minds as a propaganda tool.
The theoretical of a new formation which may include multiple corps has been discussed repeatedly but always turned down, primarily due to a lack of need for such but also because of only one being possible to even create with the BSC's current numbers.
Modus Operandi & Operational records
Despite the incredible size of the Blackshield Company's expeditionary Corps when compared to most mercenary companies, they always try to avoid frontline engagements for a variety of reasons. The primary of which being a general aversion to attention; their numbers and functioning group of ships already being too much of a sore thumb already by their standards. As such, the Expeditionary Corps exclusively takes on what they refer to as 'backline support', effectively acting as a reinforced supply line to whoever is willing to hire them. Naturally, this has led to a lack of recognition but also a lack of significant payment in terms of C-Bills and salvage. As such, in order to maintain the point of these expeditions, the contract almost always involves the acquisition of 'new' weapons and equipment that is them delivered back home to be reverse engineered. Some of the first examples of this process were Pulse Lasers and the Light PPC along with a single damaged Barghest 'mech; technologies that were studied fiercely and led to the creation of the Ceberon CRBN-55A.
Nevertheless, payment in C-Bills is still acquired, albeit to a much lesser degree. Because of this, the Blackshield Company uses FTL communications sparingly and rarely splits their forces across more than one system which, in turn, usually means less of a payout. The cycle of 'less pay, less comms, less pay' is only sustainable by the simple yet important fact that the Expeditionary corps does not rely on the Inner Sphere's resources to sustain itself. With energy weapons being their primary equipment and missiles being their only munitions, it is easy for a stockpile to be created before deployment and last for more than enough time. Paired with the fact that their units see far less combat than frontliners, the Expeditionary Corps almost always ends up with a surplus of C-Bills that remain largely unneeded when they begin to depart; thus the tradition of squandering the vast majority of these payments in the territories of Canopus, the proverbial promised land of wasted money.
In the relatively few cases where the Expeditionary Corps do engage hostile forces, it is always in a form of layered defense. Slower moving vehicles act as escorts to convoys, relying on the inherently slow nature of these formations to keep up with ease and provide an initial wall of defense against ambushes and assaults. Each of these convoys as a permanently active comms connection to their respective command units who, in turn, are connected to the Corps Central Command. When the enemy attacks, one of two scenarios plays out; the convoy simply reports over comms that they are under attack, thus prompting an immediate response from the main force or the convoy's communications get jammed and the connection to command drops, thus acting as an alternative notification for almost immediate response. Despite the occasional existence of false alarms, this methodology has allowed the Expeditionary Corps to successfully counter all but the heaviest of enemy assaults against supply convoys, ensuring that whatever frontline they are assigned to remains consistently supplies.
Once an alarm is raised, the first units that are deployed are fast moving vehicles with strong weapons. The Beetle 35 BTL-35A, Paul PL-50A and the A and B variants of the Stormbolt are the most commonly seen examples of these initial deployments with the Paul II PL-2-80A, Shrieker SRKR-80A and the S variant of the Stormbolt being usually deployed against heavier attacks. Ground units are brought in via the Skytrain STR-37A whose two winch set-up allows it to carry two Beetles, two Shriekers or one of almost any other unit quickly into the battlefield. VTOLs escort these transports and at least one sortie, ideally two, of Aerospace craft are also deployed to ensure the safe arrival of reinforcements and to provide air support if needed. Finally, if it is determined that even these reinforcements will not be enough, the third layer of defense is engaged. Using the time and safety bought by the collection of units on the field, heavier reinforcements are steadily sent in to surround and neutralize the hostile force. Anything from Crushers and Cavaliers to Cerberons and Battlelords can be deployed at this stage, ensuring that the line will not be broken.
Notably, while this approach to combat could theoretically work in any engagement, it is their unique deployment as backline troops that allows the Expeditionary Corps to truly thrive. With the enemy almost always cut off from reinforcements and with limited support to work with, it is almost impossible to fight against an entire army that is specifically dedicated to protecting supply lines as much as possible. In the few instances of enemy breakthroughs that have pushed so far as to reach a convoy, the situation can change significantly and is usually responded to with a fighting retreat that is granted what support is needed to minimize losses and force the enemy to desist or at least slow down. These situations, while very rare, are when the Corps truly kicks into high-gear and gives both their employer and opponent a glimpse of how they function as a frontliner force.
Regardless of situation, there are always those who surrender and are captured as prisoners of war. For the purposes of avoiding bad blood and personal grudges but also due to their own moral based code, the Blackshield Company usually treats prisoners fairly well. Food and water are provided readily in healthy amounts and executions are practically unheard of, the only exceptions being those who are known to have executed prisoners of the Blackshield Company themselves. Afterwards, these prisoners are sorted into high and low value, the former of which are usually traded with the employer in exchange of some bonus while the latter are used for prisoner exchanges with enemy forces, if such are necessary. There are only two cases in which high value prisoners are traded directly with the enemy. The first is in the rare case that the employer has no interest in the VIP. The second is when the enemy has a VIP of the Blackshield Company and demands their own in exchange.
While uncommon, there are instances where prisoners have requested to join the Expeditionary Corps. Most of these cases are unlucky conscripts who believe that this is their one chance to be part of a profitable endeavor. Those people are universally turned down. Those who genuinely express interest in being part of the Blackshield Company, however, are given a chance to do so. Acting in minor roles, these people are usually put through an unwritten, unmentioned test that involves a mixture of physical labor, menial tasks and general assistance. These insignificant tasks are given to ensure that the individual is willing to live a life away from combat as unbeknownst yet to them, they will be unable to join any future expedition. After a timeframe lasting anywhere from two to five months, depending on the individual, they are granted the option of signing up as part of an infantry squad or remain as a menial worker. While this second 'phase' is not a test per se, those who choose to become infantrymen are generally granted additional benefits upon being brought back to New Ultima and assimilating into the Blackshield Company proper.
Despite this tradition of allowing new recruits and even a few prisoners to join them, the men and women of the Expeditionary Corps are no less wary of the Clans despite their occasional exposure to their forces in combat. For one, their tradition of bondsmen is alien as a concept and largely viewed as an attempt at manipulative slavery and even brainwashing in some extreme cases. Similarly, the Batchall is largely regarded as an attempt at deception and usually openly called out as such, further alienating both sides to one another. Over the decades, there have been a handful instances of Clanners being allowed into the Blackshield Company and only after great effort. Due to this, it has been and still currently is impossible for a clan to hire the services of the Blackshield Company's Expeditionary Corps. A fact that is not well known as no Clan has ever tried thus far.

THE HOLY REPUBLIC OF KOTHNOREA
(W.I.P. | a lot of missing lore & info!)
History
Originally a simple mercenary band from the Marian Hegemony, a lucky happenstance saw the group come under possession of an old heavy warship while traveling through Capellan space. This unprecedent event, coupled with the absurdity of simply finding such a vessel out in open space with minimal damages, caused a significant shift in the group's perspective. Their leader, religiously inclined in nature, saw this event as a blessing from Mars and began viewing himself as Jupiter's chosen champion.
Problems arose when the mercenaries realized that they lacked the necessary manpower to properly man the ship, however, forcing their leader, one Scipio Julian Siegfried Oscar Von Oberstein, to make a drastic decision; they would put aside a small part of their pride as the champions of the gods and allow the unworthy masses of Capellan locals to act as crew for the ship, so as to ensure that it is properly staffed and maintained, even if by unworthy hands.
From planet to planet, the group jumped, gathering whoever was even remotely willing to abandon their lowly state as hopeless workers in order to serve a grander purpose among the stars; to be part of the divine champions; to partake in the mandate of pantheons and many other such increasingly grandiose and ever twisted interpretations of religious propaganda. Soon enough, the group had gathered not only more than the necessary amount to fully man the heavy cruiser but also the attention and ire of the Capellan Confederation itself.
Surrounded on all sides and without a snowflake's chance in hell at success, Scipio declared that only the gods could truly decide their fate and ordered the ship to make a blind jump. One that he was repeatedly warned would see them all incinerated and yet he ordered to happen anyway, stating "If it is Jupiter's will to see us burn along with his blessing, them we shall meet him in the afterlife with naught but burnt skeletons and a smile upon our skulls!"
This comment, despite almost causing a mutiny, was barely enough for the crew to carry out the jump. A jump that lasted two weeks and five days and during which Scipio refused to eat or drink anything other than water, immersing himself in prayer and encouraging his staff to do the same. When the emaciated body of now "Scipio the Champion" rose to his weakened feet, the man took one look upon the lush, temperate planet on which the ship had almost crash landed and declared its name to be "Caelum Terrestre" (Earthy Heaven) before breathing his last and passing away in the supporting hands of his staff.
What doubts existed before of their holy mission now began to vanish from the minds of the masses. The ship's landing itself had resulted in surprisingly superficial damages and the crew was alive, albeit fatigued and hungry. After burying Scipio, now officially recognized as chosen of the gods and ascendant prophet of Jupiter, the remaining staff began to organize their new state accordingly. Though somewhat moved, if not outright honored, Scipio's staff had been with him long before finding the ship and had thus not bought in to his beliefs to the extent that the more impressionable Capelans had; they knew this was a unique opportunity and were fully prepared to take advantage of it.
A nation was declared, the Holy Republic; a name that, due to a horrible mistranslation between Capelan and Marian languages was mutated over time to "Kothnorea". The origin of the name itself, ironically, was shockingly obscure information, resulting in most people besides those at the top to combine the two into the "Holy Republic of Kothnorea" over the course of decades. Decades during which an unofficial caste system became increasingly established; Marian blood being viewed as 'blessed' and 'sacred' whereas those of Capelan origin were seen as born followers and servants. A belief subtly and originally propagated by the same original command staff that established the colony.
More than three decades after establishing, developing and improving the new colony, the original ship that started it all was finally made to take true flight again. Painstakingly maintained through countless sacrifices, the now renamed "Scipio's Justice" flew into the stars once more with one singular mission: establishing a new colony for materials. A mission that was accomplished relatively quickly by taking advantage of the various moons present in the system's orbit.

Oh good. Another successful transplant from the shield wall project. Though you did get lucky and found a spot closer to the Inner Sphere then most.
OOC: good fluff.

If the Blackshield boys are considered "closer than most", I shudder to think where "most" have ended up XD
Thanks for checking it out!

Think I'm the only one doing reviews, and that's mostly because you triggered my "here is a well crafted armory" reflex from the era of solaris7.

Yeah, that's what I noticed as well. Still thankful for 'em, even more so since you seem to have actually gone through the lore of it all.
And since I hope that reflex is something you enjoy being triggered because there's a lot more I intend to add to that list, as well as other lists I've yet to fully set up, like Kothnorea's. They're still missing a bunch of stuff, fluff and crunch both. A lot of my stuff was originally made in MegaMek so I'm recreating it here while at the office (Shhh, don't tell anyone!)
