==Overview:==
The base design was originally built to help mining companies maintain orde
far-flung worlds, but the design was extensively revised for combat
applications after the SLDF purchessed the rights.
==Capabilities:==
The four legs of this design move the low-built mech at speeds of up to 64
kilometers per hour. Contained within its armored hull are 28 troopers read
disembark for combat at a moment's notice.
The mech's plodding pace allows it to penetrate most terrains, which are
effective at deflecting rolling, flying or hovering craft. The armor is
supplemented by electronic counter measures that protects the walker from
guided missile attacks.
The front of the mech is lined with four ball-turret pulse laser cannons, w
a single heavy multitype projectile cannon is mounted on the vehicle's dors
surface. Its rear fire arc is protected by a pair of pulse laser cannon
turrets. Though the walker's armor can easily deflect small arms fire, heav
weapons can pierce the armor and destroy its propulsion mechanisms.

==Battle History:==
First serving in the Reunification Wars, they served with destinction for m
years as a front line infantry support mech. It maintain this stance for ma
years, even going thru many refits. On one planet these mechs were responsi
for the quick capture of the spaceport and supplie depot, which effectively
crippled all resistence force and allowed for the safe landing of the main
attack force.
These units served untill the end of the Reunification Wars before being
decomissioned and eventually replaced by ever better machines.
==Variants:==
Much like its decendent the front of the ATTE-1 is lined with four ball-tur
laser cannons, and a single heavy projectile cannon dorsal mounted. Its rea
fire arc is protected by a pair of laser cannon turrets. Unlike its decende
thou its lasers were not as efficent against infantry, thou they had an
encreased range, and the projectile cannon could only fire a single type of
round, limiting its mission profile. The noticeable difference was the lack
ECM and a larger but less efficent heat exhaust system.
The ATTE-2 saw the first use of CASE in the design. With ATTE-3 the first t
use the Multitype projectile cannons, which can fire either a solid or clus
round. The ATTE-4 was the first refit to incorporate ECM. ATTE designs 5 th

the ATTE was ordered, this would be the ATTE-10.
==Deployment==
One of these antiquated mechs is on display on Terra, at the Smithsonian
Institution. Its rumored that its systems are maintained at full combat
readiness, thou the Institutes Execitives deny such rumors.
