Overview:
One of the very first BattleMech designs created by the engineers of the Capellan
Confederation, the Gunfighter was a primitive design, equipped with many prototype
technologies, as well as some systems soon to become obsolete. It provided the Confederation
a test bed for developing such machines, but was soon surpassed by more advanced designs.
Variants:
A later model of the Gunfighter, replacing prototype and other obsolete technologies with
more standard models. It was found to be a decent combatant, but was soon surpassed by
machines equipping at least a few energy weapons, and was relegated to be just a footnote in
history after about 10 years or so of service. Few still exist in the modern day.
