Ignoring cost and common sense, I decided to see what I could do to improve the Behemoth past the Behemoth (Kurita) variant. So here's what I came up with.

If it's gonna have a fusion engine, you might as well add a couple ER medium lasers. rather than the smalls & flamers. And unless you're using artemis, you might as well keep the 4 LRM5's over the 2 LRM10's as you'll save some space on tonnage for other stuff. Then you can up the MG ammo to a full ton, as well as another ton for the AC and about 1 1/2 more tons of armor.

Of course, I suppose it's all a matter of how you expect it to bee used. In some cases you might prefer the point defense of the SL & FL's, other times the the range of the ML's, the extra armor & extra ammo for the MGs/ACs.

The whole thing being that, this variant is actually faster than the originals so it really shouldn't have as much problems with infantry trying to overrun it

Also, on closer inspection, I can't just switch the LRM-10s for 4 LRM-5s because then I have too many items. Darn, I was gonna do that.
